A few days ago my connection was out all day so I finally called Telus' Tech Support line. The guy at the other end tried to convince me that it was a problem with my splitter, so I ended up cutting him off by unplugging the splitter. Tried using my phone line directly into my modem, but still no go, so I plugged the splitter back in. However, after a couple of hours, my ADSL connection came back to life and I've had no outages since then. I'm sure someone quietly fixed something after my call. So even though the tech support guy was about as useless as a second arsehole, I still got results!!
