Parody at EAEB

Its just taken a turn for the worse - if that's possible. Some guy who got kicked off Perb going as FPP (Former Perb Poster) has a huge grudge and is posting everything from the mock reviews to fudge brownie recipes just to annoy the hell out of people. Oh well, I certainly hope he doesn't show up here again.
As f-uke stated above, their anonymous postings just leave room for too much abuse. Too bad. It used to be a good board.

EARB
The first time I saw the EAEB board was a few days ago when the link was posted by Wolverine in the Review Board vs Community Board. I don't know what its glorious past may have been but today that board is one sick puppy.
The most striking thing about it is the quality of its content. The words puerile, moronic, juvenile, stupid, infantile and petty come to mind (for starters). While PERB may occasionally be deceived by posters with multiple handles, you can probably be pretty confident that someone posting on PERB as IceG (for example) is in fact IceG. Most of the posters here seem to take some care in developing a respectable virtual persona, and the level of discourse is, on the whole, relatively intelligent. As the current parody outbreak on EAEB shows, any poster there can post any number of times under any handle he (or she) chooses at any given moment. Even as IceG. This can only lead to the pathetic sideshow EAEB now seems to have become.
We still live in a free country, and have freedom of choice. If EAEB is your cup of tea, by all means....flame yourself silly.

EAEB is like a train wreck but Damn I can't keep from reading it. I haven't laughed so hard in the last few days as I have reading that stuff. There's more monkeyboys flying around over there than at a stage production of the Wizard Of OZ.
Come to think of it, EAEB kinda reminds me of a copy of Mad Magazine. I'm surprised Alfred E Newman hasn't posted yet.

Sure, EAEB looks like the " Jerry Springer " of discussion boards, but time has taught me to laugh at myself and like P-Man I just couldn't help but laugh my ass off reading it too.
I could not believe I made the list of those parodied, and I laughed out loud when I read it, and IMO, I prefer to think of that old saying, " parody is the highest form of flattery."
The board is such freaking low-tech, low-budget nonsense, with no control over empty posts or content at all, how can any moron really consider EAEB to have any merit?
The impersonator(s) of us are very much akin to that little kid in school who always got into trouble, picking fights, cutting class, had bad grades, would always make repetitive rude comments, gross gastronomical noises, and oh yes ... above all else ... NONE OF THE GIRLS EVER LIKED HIM.

Too funny... EAEB is a riot to read. I am worried about how much free time this guy has to string together all of Xraygogs threads. Perhaps he should come in for a session... LOL...

I used to follow the other boards: Canbest, EAEB etc and their were few good reviews and lots of flaming going on.
On PERB it appears that PERBites have lots of time to peruse and post. And they have a great time at it Others like me just want to find the facts about new girls, review the ones we've been with and engage in some clever banter with other PERBites and the ladies that pay to be on this board.
Its a free country and anyone who wants to can run a message board on also any subject. Its my choice to as to where I spend my time and what threads that I get engaged in. Some the music lyric threads were amazing, some of the soap-opera (KITT & co for example ) were entertaining. It nice to get some honest (not catty) feedback from the girls on each other and on what they appreciate from us pooners.
Years ago the pundits said that we would have virtual sex via the internet or in Holographic pleasure clubs. What we have here is like the next best thing. We indentify partners that we'd like to spend time with and we can banter with them prior to the experience, PM with them and set up to make the experience earthshakering. Hey we even have PERBAnon to let the community come out of the closet and get togther for laughs. (althought I'm still waiting for my invite)
As long as we're all adults about the whole thing, it just a fun little hobby and sure takes some of the drudgey out winter life in the 'chuck.

I'm not the guy who posted all those strung together all the posts on that EAEB thread. I'm not even the guy who pretended to me being mad at the guy who pretended to be me on EAEB. Nor am I the guy who parodied me on the earlier thread on Lauren. Here are a few things I've been thinking about:
* This guy is more obsessed with Lauren than I could ever be. I haven't even seen Lauren since my original review. I don't PM her, she doesn't PM me, and everything I've said about her is based on the one session we had.
* If I was really so in love and obsessed with Lauren, would I go around talking about her, or as what Mr. Parody Gogs refers to as "shilling" for her in so many threads?
* I think its really funny reading all the parodies, and I wonder what kind of person has the time to go through Perb, read all my posts, further insert a few comments that "sound like" me in between all those threads, and do all that copy & pasting.
I still feel Parody is the highest form of flattery and EAEB is pretty much the "Trailer Park Boys" of Discussion Boards... un-edited!

xraygogs I'm sure everyone realized it wasn't you who made the post and I can see why you might be upset, but none of us has gone unscathed. Take the board and posts for what it is and consider the sources. I just look for the humour in it and don't take it too seriously. I thought the parody to Lauren actually serves as a promotion and will only make her more popular.
