Open question about what Perb is all about

So I've got a question that I've been pondering for awhile but that's really been bugging me since my awful experience with Allison Vixxen/Mary/whatever-the-hell-name-she's using today in Langford (hereafter known as the Con-Artist with Psychotic Tendencies). And I apologize in advance if I indirectly put anybody on the spot or seem to go on the attack here; it's not my intention, but I've been known to be a little sarcastic from time to time.

What's the purpose of this forum, or more specifically, the review section? I'm sure there are people who are titillated by some of the more detailed reviews, but I'm guessing that most people who read the reviews are looking for information on which women to see and what to expect. Full stop. And the more participation and balanced reviews there are, the more helpful the forum will be for everyone.

I've noticed that the reviews are either good or pretty bad, and the good ones far outweigh the bad ones. (Perhaps the imbalance has something to do with the fact that some/lots? of the good reviews are actually shills, but that's another topic.) And there are very few reviews where the OP describes just a slightly sub-par or mediocre session. A rare negative "review" was written earlier today, but the OP almost apologized for writing it: "She is a well-regarded sp on these forums and I was gonna write a review but decided not to because if I was, probably the best I could give the overall experience would be a 6/10 and I don't want to bad mouth anyone as the last time I wrote a "negative" review I received some criticism for it." Personally, I thank him for his honesty, though since he didn't want to name the SP in question for fear of being attacked, it's not going to help anyone avoid or at least be prepared if they see that SP. And it goes without saying that YMMV, or that the OP may be wrong in his assessment, or that the SP might have been having an off-day, etc...but wouldn't you all like to know of such so-so experiences, so you could make an informed decision?

I don't think we're doing anyone any favors (except, of course, for the women who offered the poor service and is getting a pass) by neglecting to write the negative review in favor of writing only positive reviews. I'm not a glass-half-empty type, but the forum is only half-way useful if the top providers are pumped up (deservedly, so, I might add), without the counter-balance of having the poor SPs outed. I'll circle back to what got me all riled up in the first place. Had people who had seen the Con-Artist with Psychotic Tendencies written about their experiences at the time -- each worse than the last -- then how many of us would been saved from seeing her?

I say please go ahead and write the reviews. I understand what you or others are going thru and sometimes don't write one myself. However, it does ( for me anyways), help me filter out sp's who I will and won't see.

I agree with you guys, though everyone else is silent on the issue...well, I guess this site does have some usefulness, albeit limited.

Thanks and no offense taken. My question about what perb is all about was rhetorical...of course I know what we go on here for. And until that t1000 jessica alba pleasure model comes out (and I'll be first in line to buy it!), I'll still be checking the reviews.

I never said perb owes me anything. I just commented that it's usefulness is limited if people stick to writing only great reviews when they're all excited about a session which they just came from but neglect to write a review about a crappy session with a SP who just went through the motions. Yes, I'm aware the ladies aren't robots and that YMMV, but I'd rather go to a SP whose reviews are overwhelmingly positive than one who's got a string of bad or mediocre reviews.

Yes, I have balls and have seen unreviewed (or under-reviewed) ladies and written about it. Case in point was my recent session with Allison/Mary, who had virtually no reviews when I went to see her, so I was basically TOFTT. I found out after the fact that there were several guys who had similar terrible experiences with her (e.g. texting while receiving DATY, asking a guy in the middle of sex if "he's almost done", over advertising and under-delivering, threatening to cry "rape" if a guy didn't accept the fact that she was not going to return $70 change, etc) , but who didn't write about it until they responded to my post. This isn't an attack on them -- and I appreciate their coming forward in support of what I wrote -- but I'm just wondering why it is that they (and I'm sure there are others) didn't write earlier? I mean, it's amazing that she's been advertising on BP and other sites for many months now, despite such an abysmal track record, without anyone calling her out until recently.

Can I pre-order this Alba pleasure bot? What's the delivery timeline?

There has been a lot of shilling lately. Then the accusation and suspicion of a shill follows.

Have noticed a lack of reviews these days too. Guess I should write one and change that soon.

a lot of the 1st time posters just don't want the hassle of being called a shill, or being accused of having an axe to grind against the girl they're posting the bad review about.
I agree. I've been using this site for about 6 months but am hesitant to write a review because of that. I have to admit that i'm guilty of suspecting shills myself though. I don't trust a review from someone who's only posted once or twice, especially if it's a glowing one.

I always thought it would be good idea for new members to post a few reviews and/or commentary of established ladies before coming on here and writing a gushing and flowery review of a new SP who just showed up on BP about 10 minutes earlier.Just sayin.

I have gotten alot of good information and it has helped in my selections and I like to think I have returned the favour. One thing I suggest to newer members is to wait a few days after a session before writing a review. Both good and bad experiences will tend to mellow somewhat after the euphoria or dismay wears off a bit.

Why do I go on here? If theres an ad I like, see if its been verified on here and go if its good and if its not reviewed, take my chances. Perb doesnt owe me anything man.
Well said.

I'm just wondering why it is that they (and I'm sure there are others) didn't write earlier?
You could ask them, or you can start a thread and get other Perb members to speculate.

I think there are a lot of guys who don't want to post a bad review and cause drama. I know when I've posted asking about a girl a few times on here, I've received many PMs from guys sharing a bad experience, but they didn't want to post it... It would be nice if well established members on this board could write reviews anonymously, and the board admins could make sure they are real valid long time posters only..

er...I am pretty sure that almost everyone on this board is anonymous. Let's see -- a second level of anonymity -- so that the first level of anonymity is not besmirched....my head is not quite able to grasp it.
