So I've got a question that I've been pondering for awhile but that's really been bugging me since my awful experience with Allison Vixxen/Mary/whatever-the-hell-name-she's using today in Langford (hereafter known as the Con-Artist with Psychotic Tendencies). And I apologize in advance if I indirectly put anybody on the spot or seem to go on the attack here; it's not my intention, but I've been known to be a little sarcastic from time to time.
What's the purpose of this forum, or more specifically, the review section? I'm sure there are people who are titillated by some of the more detailed reviews, but I'm guessing that most people who read the reviews are looking for information on which women to see and what to expect. Full stop. And the more participation and balanced reviews there are, the more helpful the forum will be for everyone.
I've noticed that the reviews are either good or pretty bad, and the good ones far outweigh the bad ones. (Perhaps the imbalance has something to do with the fact that some/lots? of the good reviews are actually shills, but that's another topic.) And there are very few reviews where the OP describes just a slightly sub-par or mediocre session. A rare negative "review" was written earlier today, but the OP almost apologized for writing it: "She is a well-regarded sp on these forums and I was gonna write a review but decided not to because if I was, probably the best I could give the overall experience would be a 6/10 and I don't want to bad mouth anyone as the last time I wrote a "negative" review I received some criticism for it." Personally, I thank him for his honesty, though since he didn't want to name the SP in question for fear of being attacked, it's not going to help anyone avoid or at least be prepared if they see that SP. And it goes without saying that YMMV, or that the OP may be wrong in his assessment, or that the SP might have been having an off-day, etc...but wouldn't you all like to know of such so-so experiences, so you could make an informed decision?
I don't think we're doing anyone any favors (except, of course, for the women who offered the poor service and is getting a pass) by neglecting to write the negative review in favor of writing only positive reviews. I'm not a glass-half-empty type, but the forum is only half-way useful if the top providers are pumped up (deservedly, so, I might add), without the counter-balance of having the poor SPs outed. I'll circle back to what got me all riled up in the first place. Had people who had seen the Con-Artist with Psychotic Tendencies written about their experiences at the time -- each worse than the last -- then how many of us would been saved from seeing her?
