Fido's recent full network upgrade to Rogers 5G has resulted in poor reception indoors, intermittent dark zones driving around town, choppy movie streaming, re-buffering instagram and tiktok videos and poor video calls even in major urban centres. Worse, Fido customers who were not moving from their 4G/LTE to Rogers' network because of this very concern, just got a free mandatory "upgrade" regardless, and now are fucked. To add insult to injury, Fido and Rogers now offer new 5G plans at a fraction (sometimes 50% - as low as $35/mo) of the existing old plan, after turning service quality to shit, but they won't give the old customers (read:suckers) the price drop, because that's for new activations only.

you need to escalate to the management team about all your concerns. ;)
I had a billing issue with Koodo a few months back (huge bill in comparison to my usual monthly) and went this route. They cut the bill in half and set me up with a better plan. Being a long term customer and paying my bill early helped.

Did this 'management' sound local or overseas, lol I've heard u get better deals if u speak to a overseas rep, they've got more leniency than the local people and they worry about bad customer service surveys they may get, lol

i've tried it with rogers. and they explain how things work on their end. and they are the only ones that can give you cheaper and decent plans and great devices prices nowadays. customers service cannot do anything about it for existing customers because they won't get commission.
