Fido's recent full network upgrade to Rogers 5G has resulted in poor reception indoors, intermittent dark zones driving around town, choppy movie streaming, re-buffering instagram and tiktok videos and poor video calls even in major urban centres. Worse, Fido customers who were not moving from their 4G/LTE to Rogers' network because of this very concern, just got a free mandatory "upgrade" regardless, and now are fucked. To add insult to injury, Fido and Rogers now offer new 5G plans at a fraction (sometimes 50% - as low as $35/mo) of the existing old plan, after turning service quality to shit, but they won't give the old customers (read:suckers) the price drop, because that's for new activations only.
