Sps travel to Alberta for good reasons:

-Higher male to female ratio= men having to compete harder to get laid
-No PST= lower travel expenses + higher net profit for those who declare income
-Alberta's lower average real estate prices+ higher average household income = more clients with more disposable income

Aren't rates in Vic typically lower than that? Something as simple as not wanting to do the work for less than 200 (after agency cut) is probably the simple reason. Also, isn't it mostly agency there? If someone wanted to go indy, wouldn't a change of scene, along with a rate increase to something more agreeable, make sense? If other workers are moving into AB for work, why wouldn't sps go the same direction. Also, I think it is a better place to live and work as opposed to travel and work, due to the conditions of licensing, especially if licensing keeps them off the LE radar.

Most girls in this biz have pretty expensive tastes, so $200/ hr x 4 calls per month doesn't even pay the rent.Rent in Vic is around $1300/$1400 per month & that's nothing special. If your a clothes horse, then your really gonna get in the hole pretty fast, If your an indi & you have a work apartment, you've just doubles your rent.
Lets be honest, once your 'flavour of the month' status has worn off, all your really depending on is your regulars

Lots of good reasons i see.Didnt know it was so tough in Victoria for sp's never thought about it much.However this is a very expensive city and they can easily double or more profits with lower cost of living and more men to women ratio! We dont have a shortage of hot women in this town lol
