While I agree with this, evidence as reported by media is rarely black or white, as they have their own biases. The quoted website is ~30th largest website in South Korea, a country of 50 million people, so while I still wouldn't call it conclusive, I wouldn't say it's nothing either. It'll be interesting to see if any Western outlets pick this up.

Ya the anti-Asian narrative is very headline grabbing, given the pandemic, but is there any evidence to it? This guy claims to be a troubled sex addict and struggled dealing with those places as tempations. There was mention that he visted these places, so if this guy has visited these places and had engaged in sex with any Asian women, it's it makes it harder to view him as racist towards those women. I don't picture people who are racist towards a particular type of people to have sex with people of that race. I could be wrong ofcourse.
Asian massage parlours being the target was not a coincidence. This is going to strike a nerve with this forum but Asian females being fetishized for their diminutive and submissive nature is still discriminatory even if a guy can't admit it to himself. Some guys rationalize this to themselves by just telling themselves "they're just hot and that's the way I like it!"... better known as they are treating them like fuck dolls. In all honesty, you could treat them very, very well and it is still discriminatory because you have a perceived notion of what females of that race are like, it's not racism in the guy's eyes because he thinks that him wanting to fuck her is a good thing, but it is racism in the eyes of societal norms because if you generalize the question to Asian females - they will tell you that is not how they wish to be portrayed.
If you think wanting to have sex with a race doesn't make you racist against them, then you probably don't know what racism really means. I'd suggest you get out more. If you still don't get it, I'll be happy to engage in conversation as to why this isn't just a sex crazed nutjob issue - slightly more than I usually tolerate for Perb.

The real story here is yet again another white man shoots a group of colored ppl and is taken into custody w/o any type of incident and and to top it off, what a load of croc the excuse was he's a sex addict

Racism, sex addiction or not, the whole story and crime is just disgusting. I just read a couple more articles now. I can't imagine how scary it must have been to be in there. And its so sad how this crime occured at three different locations as well. I will likely check in with the story over the next few days, but I probably won't get into reading about it too much, like I sometimes do.

what a terrible tragedy, i can only imagine their families and children.... sex workers everywhere are thinking about the last moments of their lives, it must have been terrifying .... seeing your friends killed,.... the gun turning towards you.....
one man was killed also, i wonder if he was a client or brobrosan.....either way, he likely lost his life trying to stop this animal..... a hero.....
like so many serial killers/ terrorists.... he felt that he would not be punished for killing sex workers, he was removing the temptation.... doing society a favor....
i really am at a loss and wish i could offer some kind of hopeful message but i am not sure that we will see and end to this kind of targeted attack any time soon.... as long as sex workers are seen as less than or crimes against us as different....we will see this kind of violence play out
at least here we have been free from murder of sex workers for 12 years, here we are beginning to see change...it's not perfect but we are moving in the right direction....
the worst for me is on the global sex worker rights list serves... when a country goes silent...when there is no word from the groups in a country for so long .... you begin to wonder....what is happening to them, where are they....sometimes we never hear from them again....and it's not like we can simply go and check.....

Women have shown me messages from guys that they turned down. Many of them go nuts and make all kinds of threats.

It's ok, we will just keep teaching our children how special they are and how they can do no wrong. When they do make a mistake, we will just blame everybody else for the fact that this person has zero coping skills. Of course, the subjugation of women has gone on since the dawn of time so it obviously goes deeper than nurturing, but my point that society as a whole is getting way too sensitive still stands. Particularly the younger generations. Accountability is at an all time low everywhere you look, even in the work place, people are protected from their horrible decisions. It's ridiculous. There is simply NO EXCUSE for doing what this guy did Just like how someone's tough life isn't an excuse for them to be an asshole. People who try that crap with me get ghosted real quick, and yeah, most of them react quite poorly to that rejection.

The news about the police chief is pretty disgusting. The history of racist posts to go along with the "having a bad day" comment just make the this whole story worse than it already is.
