In my early days in Toronto I got a phone call. The client wanted to double my rate if I would come visit him. It wasn't too far out of my way so I said yes. When I got there he told me he had won a million dollars on an Instant Millions scratch and win ticket. He showed me pictures of him at the lotto office receiving the cheque plus photocopies of the cheque, he was the real deal. Apparently he bought twenty $5 tickets and one of them was a winner.

Your odds with 1 ticket on the Lotto Max or 649 are close to your odds with many tickets. Therefore, buying 1 ticket on the 2 main lotteries is "being in the game", buying many tickets is just wasting your money. The odds of anyone winning are driven on how many tickets are sold. That is why the winners are usually from Ontario or Quebec. Many more people. It's also why nobody ever wins the Lotto BC. Too few people, same odds as 649.

I am in two pools and have my own ticket. All I need to do now is to win.
I have redone the math though. This is what I need per day;
650 (duos only) including tip* + $10 parking + $15.68 per blue pill (Not yet, but I m making provisions for later years) + $25 liquor/wine = 700/day x 312 days = $218,400 / year
(*650 is sort of an avg, there would be some solos, some trios and a day or two sick days as well)
If I live another 20 years, it would be about 4.5 million. Add another half million for inflation etc. I think I should be able to afford that if I ever get my share of about 12 million.
I will also give it back to the society. I will be giving it back in form of donations (to the sps)

I bought some scratch tickets today and won a few dollars haha, so I guess I'll spend that money to buy more! I am using the strategies I learned on the internet I don't care what I win, as long as it is money in the hundreds or thousands, more would be much better of course, but I am not being picky. Any "free" money is nice! I don't know, I kind of feel lucky these days
