Hmmm... really? So, according to Forbes Magazine, Denmark has been ranked the best country for business in 2014, after been ranked that 2008-2010.

It is also the second-most peaceful country according to the
Institute for Economics and Peace.
The least corrupt country and best on rule of law according to the Global Justice Project, see
this.
And according the eighth most competitive economy by the
International Institute for Management Development.
Sadly, they are no longer the world's most happiest people, but being
ranked 3 is still pretty good (and ahead of Canada).
If you want to look at overall tax competitiveness, Denmark doesn't rank that highly according to the
Tax Foundation, but still higher than Canada.
Extreme inequality in society is what leads to increased crime, corruption and the possibility of revolution. Some redistribution of wealth through the tax code mitigates some of those negative aspects in society.
Maybe Denmark and its brand of socialism has a thing or two to teach Canada.
And I'm not Danish...
