Vancouver Madonna Concert

Friends of mine saw her and thought it was a great "Vegas" type show. As far as the lip synching, it was after a period of intense dancing for about 7 or 8 minutes.
Hunka, can you sing let alone breath properly after an 8 minute intense dance sequence?

Hey from what the lady friend told me was the 54 year old is the new 34 year old with a built body. All the power to her. Not my cuppa tea since I am more into the old rocker bands.
BTW I would love to see Adele sing. Pretty sure she won't dance tooound:

Ok, try this. K-Pop starlette, not-lip-synching an Adele song... Even gets a little chin attitude in at 1:16. Sorry, but Adele is just too hideous to go see live. Reminds me of Wynona. But Tiffany! She is a red head I could get jiggy with!
He used to tour with John Mellencamp and they would sing each other's songs together acoustically.
Quite memorable.
Adele can sing, but she needs a serious diet...not to mention more than 1 hit...:nod:
I applaud Adele for being a singer with actual talent, unlike 95% of the auto-tuned dreck you hear nowadays, but she does nothing for me - I don't find her voice to be as good as everyone seems to think...
...but I will give her this, she's no Madonna, at least
I am not a Madonna fan but her longevity in the business is something you don't see much these days. She was singing to large crowds in the early 80's.
If Adele or any current famous female singer is still doing it in front of 20,000 people thirty years from now then that is the true mark of success in the business. Adele will have to put out two or three more ultra successful albums to get that recognition. Plenty of one hit wonders out there now.
I went to Tacoma in August to see Aerosmith with Cheap Trick. Place was packed i.e. > 30,000 standing and singing to their songs all night. Both of those bands have been around since the 70's.

I had posted once on FB after a KISS concert that it was an utterly amazing show. Friend of mine of course pipes up, "Kiss sucks". He then posts an alternative song choice by Ke$ha, or whatever the fuck that dirty skank calls herself. My reply to him was, you have the right to argue my musical tastes when Kesha is around for 40 years, and has sold 160 million + albums....
Absolutely! Kiss is the "hardest working band" that cranks out songs that gets the crowd into the show.
Adele is way much more than a number on a scale.
According to VH1, she is one of the " Greatest Women In Music " who also happens to be the first female in the history of Billboard Hot 100 to have 3 singles in the Top 10 at the same time as a lead artist. Btw, she also sang the new 007 theme song " SkyFall ". Adele is definitely one in a million. " Adele is simply too magical to compare her to anyone. " - AllMusic :thumb:
Love or hate the tunes, no doubt Madge has done more to empower women and shown them what strenght of character can do for a female than damn near anyone else in the last 40 years. Prop's to Madonna for sticking it out and inspiring some fortitude in a populous largely devoid of spinal fluid. 'Friad of 'nothin. Wish I could say that sometimes.....
