Tiger sucked in 2010 and 2011 and still finished 4th in both years. He has to be the favorite.

I like Westwoods chances as well. He is always right there on Sunday. And Lefty should also be in the mix. I like the Masters because of its predictability. Anyone can win but you know a few regulars will challenge.

In golf, if there is only a few options, I'd always take the field. Yea it's a chickensh@t bet I know.
hmmmm...by other I actually expected a name. I did not include the world no 1, Luke Donald because I don`t expect him to contend but some may see him as the favorite.

Fire up the engines. It's Masters week!!!!!!

Lots of expectation going into this weeks event with the Big 3 expected to contend but you never know...it could be Rory (Sabbatini, not McIlroy) and Angel Cabrera battling for the win on the back nine on Sunday.

Too bad Dustin Johnson is out. I had him as one of my darkhorse favorites.

I knew there was a reason I had Westwood as one of the poll choices and not Luke Donald. Lefty and Tiger were awful. But Tiger was able to avoid big numbers despite some awful swings. Hopefully Phil makes the cut because I think he can make some noise on the weekend when the course weeds out the weak. But bad weather tomorrow should make things very interesting.

I think it is wide open. Couples wins maybe if this is a seniors event, 3 rounds, but he will fade by Sunday. Too bad though because I would really love it if he won. Saturday is moving day. Phil is still right there. But I have a feeling there may be a first time winner like Sergio or Bubba. I would love to see Westwood get one though

I am surprised Tiger has not done better but given his course management I can see why..not laying up on 13 is the best example...today is when the tournament really begins though and anything can happen.

Huh?
Tiger and Rory both shit the bed.

This should be a walk in the park for Phil. Sunday at the Masters usually comes down to experience...or luck. I don't see any of the chasers birdying the last 4 holes like Schwartzel did last year. I expect Hanson to fall apart and Lefty to win by 3 or more.

Pretty crazy stuff. Take away that ridiculous triple by Phil and he wins by 1 stroke. Sadly, I have no doubt that TV ratings would have sucked since Rory and Tiger were not in contention. The tournament did not live up to expectations in many ways but there definitely was some great golf today.

Go Bubba!!!!!!!!!!!

Take away my lack of talent, and I would've won the damn thing. Phil didn't win. Bubba did. FigJam made his "ridiculous triple" all on his own..

I hope 12 of you are better at guessing hockey playoffs than golf.

Well said stupid Flanders ;)

I did like oust's response after the match...he said straight up "I did not lose,he won"....and that was the case....2 equally shitty tee shots off the 2nd playoff hole and Bubba made the most of it.

Funny enough on the 18th when Bubba had the chance of making a birdie and winning outright I had the massive urge to call a Vegas sportsbook and betting $1000 that he would not make that putt.....I did not do so due to the very short time window and also for the fact that I have never done that before so it would have taken far too long......my instinct was right though.

Tiger was pretty much non-existent this week and it was strange not seeing video replays of him Saturday/Sunday for sure....if oust'y had made 1 more birdie on the back nine or had not made the bogey that double eagle he made would be in the Master's highlites for decades and it would have been fitting.
