Why do some SPs advertise that they "have a university education" or is a "university student" and whatnot?

Is it to say that they are intelligent as a GFE and is a sexy quality, that they're grateful for you to help with her tuition payment, or just to round out the CV?

Not to denounce it, but just curious. I didn't know one needed a degree in this industry

Maybe party to show off (I finish my second degree next year, and I am PROUD of it!!!) but also for me, a big part of mentioning that I'm in university is to justify why I am only available part-time, only in the evenings, and why I can't spend a lot of time during the day answering texts / phone calls / "social" emails.

It's near impossible to dedicate the ideal time responding to every email and every request when you're a full-time student and sometimes by stating this on our website, we hope the gentlemen sending emails won't get impatient if they don't hear back within the same day (sometimes I get home at 3am from the library and there's no energy left to check my work email...).

I'm working on a Master's degree right now, and I usually mention my university education in my advertising. There are a few reasons for this:

-It indicates that I'm up for and interested in having intellectual conversations. This is important to some potential clients, especially those who are booking a longer session like a dinner date or overnight date.

-It indicates that I am escorting on a part-time basis. Some gentlemen prefer seeing part-timers, for whatever reason.

-It explains why my availability is limited and why I sometimes require 48 hours to respond to inquiries.

-My university experience is a huge part of my identity. I've been in university for the past 7 years. I want to represent my passions and interests accurately, which means that it's essential to mention my university education if I am to give a well rounded picture of who I am.

When I was working at an agency, I had a few outcall appointments where I was expected to join clients to do some recreational drug.
Now, I advertise myself as someone with healthy life style, I never receive any inquiring about drug and party together.
It helps somewhat to screen people.

May be same for those who specifically advertise as university students.
They may want clients with similar interest.

I at least know two people for sure have degree(s), and have a pretty positive feeling about a few more girls who claim that they have degree(s). (I know at least one who is full of bullshit as well).

Claiming those are bullshit is pretty harsh and rushed, and even unreasonable conclusion.

There is a reality show coming up about escorts who has positive life style.
Those who thinks it is BS that some escorts have healthy life style may want to watch it.

I think saying that they have an university degree sorta tells you what kind of time you are expected to have when you book. Although my experience is relatively low (n=12), all the SPs with a degree (or in the process) tended to spend more time talking rather than the usual fun stuff. Dont get me wrong, talking is fun and what not but sometimes we are sorta rushed when our time is nearing the end.

University degrees are handed out like candy. You just need to make the minimal effort of using your brain and anyone can get one. Don't children also have brains? Most faculties coddle their students and you have to be a total moron to fail to get your degree, and this includes even the sciences and professional schools. However it seems the general public is still falling under the myth that an SP is necessarily being one for lack of any alternative, including the inability to get a degree. It's almost requisite to advertise you have one, if you do.

Just because you are paying her it doesn't mean you can't interact with her like any other lady you are intimate with.

Intelligence in a lady is much desired not just for the sake of interesting conversations, but for the trust in intelligent decision-making as well. In this hobby, decision-making in the face of limited information requires a keen mind--for both parties.

I trust a lady to be intelligent enough to be discreet, to make decisions that would maintain her good health and well-being, and by extension, maintain her client's health and safety.

There are many intelligent ladies in the hobby, and having a degree matters less than how you speak and carry yourself. That said, being in a university or having a degree matters to me as a client.

To address Holly's part about why some gentlemen prefers to see part-timers: having a university degree tells me that you have something going on outside of the hobby (which makes you more interesting), that you are reliable enough to be in school, and that you are low-volume (coming back to the health and safety issue).
