4 out of the 5 computers i use on a regular basis are notebooks. so, i voted notebook.

Okay, this is where I show my loser-dom I guess.

I have a a desktop with full remote access (for my other PCs) hooked up to my TV. It's got 3gb ram and a 512MB Nvidia chipset card. It's running 2 hard drives and has around a TB of space. It's for watching TV shows, movies, listening to music on the nice TV (Samsung 42 inch). It's got Vista.

I have a laptop which is my primary PC right now, especially post surgery. I dual boot Windows 7 and Kubuntu Linux on it.

I have a true gaming machine with a 1TB Hard drive, 8gb ram, a GTX260, 1000 watt power supply (haha, sadly it needs it).

I also have 2 computers just sitting, but I am going to be compiling/rebuilding them for a friend of mine who just got back from Afghanistan to find his computer trashed.

I think I'm in love and that is one impressive gaming machine

I've got 2 laptops and 3 desktops and a Nokia N810. My main laptop is an Acer with 2 gig of ram and runs Ubuntu 9.04. I also have a a Sony One desktop is my PVR/torrent machine, is an athlon 2500 with 1.25 gigs of memory a 1TB of HD it is practically silent. My secodary gaming machine is WinXP box with 2 gigs of Ram, runs an intel E2600 and has 320 gigs of HD and a Radeon 2600. My second and favorite gaming machine is win2k machine running a mobile Athlon 2500 overclocked to 3300+ using custom built water cooling system (the radiator is the heater core from a 94 Camaro) on a server motherboard with 2.5 Gigabytes of ECC ram, a RAID 0 array of 500 GB for the hardrive (it use to be 6x80GB 10,000rpm SCSI drives in a RAID 5 array), a Radeon X800 for the video card and a 650 Watt power supply.

Yes all my computers are a bit long in the tooth but they do the job and it was a lot a of fun building them especially the water cooled one.

Yup thats the fan alright, and u better get a can of compressed air and blow it out or sooner or later it will cause your baby to overheat, and thats not a good thing unless its your GF
