Hi everyone,
I should have posted this awhile but I have been too busy to do so.

First off....I am going to stay a brunette or redhead for work and that way I can show my face in pics and not worry about my kids or whatever seeing it. I know if there is a will there is a way...so please dont lecture me on this one ok?

Secondly..I am going to be scatterbrained here. I just quit smoking and I feel like that commercial where that lady is trying to drive out of here driveway to go to work and she does everything all backwards. It has to do with quitting smoking too. Anyways, I will definatly have my blonde moments with all this. The addiction isnt what is getting me, but the habits. I wonder around thinking I am forgetting something ..when it reality what i am forgetting is my smokes. lol. My morning coffee was especially difficult, not because of the craving but because of the ritual of lighting up. So basically what I am saying is bare with me if I seem out of sorts. :D

Thirdly....Santas Annon. I have talked to a few of the girls here and they want to donate $5 for ever client that they get. Up until Dec 10. We would run it longer but unfortunatly I have been to busy to announce it all. And I believe that is the cut off date for the money to be donated for this year. Last year when I was at Jaileys we raised over $800. Lets all have fun and feel that Christmas spirit.

OOOOPS I messed up :D

See i wasnt even done posting and I am messed things up already

Ok back to what I was announcing:rolleyes:

Now where was I....

Oh yeah, I just started to run with one of my dogs, first thing in the morning.
I am up at 6 am to do this. Now here are my questions ....How do I stop from slipping on the side walk when the snow gets falling? Does the skin on your face freeze if you run when it is too cold? What precautions or what do I need to know when I do this? Please, I dont want to spend $100's of dollars on this. I am trying to kill two birds with one stone. Excercise my dogs and myself at the same time.

My Birthday Sunday Special. Just a friendly reminder that I am offering $20 off on any regular session. This doesnt apply to the Sunday Quickie Special.
Dont forget about that one. This applies to myself and Rebecca for half hour FS session. For $160.

Ok now finally my last announcement.

I will not be working from December 23 to January 3. I will be up in Fort Mac.
Now my question is what do I charge up there? This will be my first time going out of town to do in/out calls. So I am completely new to this. What is the best way to advertise up there?

Long enough post and for this I apologize.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Running Room

April google running room for the closest location to you and stop by there when you have time. They will help you answer all your questions you have about running in the cold and how to keep from slipping on the ice.
I run pretty much everyday so i know one thing is for sure. Your wearing the wrong shoes for running. If you like running ask them to properly analyze your feet for the best shoe that will fit you running type. We all run differently and you don't want sore feet or shin splints. I know this sounds like a lot but in all honesty most people give up running do to sore feet or splints. The right shoe will set you free.
And they are great people there they won't sell you anything you don't need and maybe some day i'll see you out for a half or full marathon. They also teach running clinics also.

Good luck with the quitting smoking it was the toughest thing i ever did.

Awe thank you so much for telling me this. Already I can feel myself getting shin splints. I am going to go down there first thing Monday and get myself a new pair of shoes. I figured I would have needed a new pair as it was.

I dont know if i will be running any marathons in the near future lol but I am very disciplined, so you never know :D

So far so good on the stop smoking....the habit of not having a cig in my hand is a little hard to get used to.

Thank you Jim for your sweet words. As always your a sweetheart ;)

Hang in there

April:
First, Happy Birthday! Next, when it comes to the quit smoking effort, remember that it is a long journey. When I stopped for good, it was a full five years until the first time someone else lighted a cigarette that I didn't want one. A long time - but well worth it.
As my Aussie friends say - Good on you!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I have been doing pretty good with the quitting smoking. I have only cheated a couple times and it was actually only one smoke for the whole day. Just makes it hard to work around others that smoke and not die for one myself. So yeah...I would beg for one, have a couple of drags and put it out. But I havent had any yesterday or today so far. I know it will be tough but I am determined to win.

I went out and bought myself a great pair of running shoes. Thanks Sandman for your suggestions. I got a gift certificate for my BD for my runners, but it wasnt at the Running Store. The girl that was there really was not knowledgable. I dont want to go to that store and ask them questions now that I am not buying my runners there. So Sandman...can I pm and pick your brain?

Oh another announcement....I am working Saturday nights now as a regular shift.

So here is what my schedule looks like.......

Tuesday - Saturday night shift from 4 30 pm to 11 pm.
Sunday day shift from 11 am to 4 30 pm.

As for going to Grand Prairie....I dont think with this kind of schedule that I will be able to pull it off. I wouldnt be doing Fort Mac, if it werent for the fact that I am going to be up there for Christmas.
Sorry babe...you will just have to make your way here. Another thing, I may run into someone that I went to school with, if I go up there. I used to go to school in Fox Creek.
