I think tonight is the 1st time Ohtani has pitched on 3 days rest?
It'll be interesting to see how he does.Sherzer has been inconsistent.
Both bullpen loaded with guys ready for short relief.

Wonder what die-hard Jays fan would have traded for this if asked back in Spring Training
would you like your Jays to be in Game 7 of the World Series?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

but hey, slide hands first at home to beat the force and you win the World Series. Feet first slide in that situation = fail.

It was incredible series, best I have seen since the Cubs Indians that also went 7. I got no life, what the hell is there to look foward to next week now?

Hoffman gives up a homer to the 9th batter with 2 outs left to win a Series. Seemingly strand base runners every inning past the 7th. IKF takes a horrible lead than misses being safe by 1 to 2 inches. Clements almost hits a double to win it all but 2 feet short out of hundreds.
Canada is cursed, only saved by Kawhi in last couple of decades.

Toronto lived on the edge all season. More come-back wins than any nother team. That isn't a sustainable formula. They won a lot of games they shouldn't have, and their come-back luck finally ran out. Leaving 14 runners in scoring position with nothing to show for it got the sad result for them.

Myles Straw, IKF, Daulton Vashro should be moved. If you are a guaranteed out with no power to even hit it past the infielders you can't be on a championship team. Find someone else period. It was so maddening watching Double AA hitting when it mattered with these 3 guys.
Maybe Vashro should be tried a suicide squeeze with the bases loaded last night cause we all know the ball can't be hit well.

Kudos to the Jays for making such a run with such a mixed bag of guys. A few studs and a few role players giving it their all for one another. Failing to cash guys in and chasing some real bad pitches isn't sustainable against a team like the dodgers. It wasn't their studs hitting those last couple of homers either. I hate to see the Dodgers win, who just keeping paying for the best players, paying more than anyone else can afford. It will be interesting to see if they can cobble together the same kind of team and results again next year. Lots of rumors about some of them going to move on already.
