Just a Suggestion...
This is something, You might want to experience, once in your Lifetime ?
A Bucket-List, check-mark per say ?
The World of Outlaws, is a Sprint Car association, that's been around since the late 70s . This is the elite Cars, and Drivers of Sprint Car racing .
Sprint Cars race on Clay(Dirt) Tracks .
The Cars weigh about 1500 lbs( 682 kg, for the Metric Police )( That's with the Driver too) , and have an Engine( 410 cu in/ 6.7L) that runs on Alcohol(Methanol), which puts out about 800-900 HP .
A phenomenal Weight to HP Ratio .
To save weight, the Cars have no Starters, or Batteries .
There is no Clutch, or Transmission .
There is a "Coupler", that directly connects the Engine, to the Rear-End . The Sprint Cars are "Bump-Started", by the many Push-Trucks .
Skagit Raceway is about an 1 1/2 Hours south of Vancouver, just south of Alger, Washington .
About a 1/2 Hour south, of Bellingham .

The Outlaws are racing at Skagit Raceway, Friday Aug 31, and Saturday Sept 1, 2018 .
It's very exciting Racing !
Here's a little Clip, from last Year .
Skagit Raceway is about a 3/10 of a Mile Oval, and Qualifying Laps are usually turned in around 14 Seconds .
They're doing those Corners, at about 100 Miles an Hour !
( That's about 160 Km/Hr, for the Metric Police . LOL )
Something to Check-out, for sure !
As the "Dog Days" of Summer, come to a close, for one more Year .
Cheers
P.S. The smell of burning Alcohol, and Rubber !
A sweet ambiance, You won't soon forget ?
