I got a phone call like that from Shaw.
I asked why they phone me to upsell me when they could email me, after all they are an internet company?
If their equipment is not working, that's on them, not me.
But I wouldn't put it past them.
Shaw told me that my modem needed upgrading or it wouldn't work with new streaming blah blah blah....

That’s the upsell to their Gig fibre platforms. Presumably supporting their 4K offerings. That’s a guess on my part but logic tells me more pixels means more bandwidth required.
Trying to find their basic internet service on their site is buried deep is what I discovered.

Haven't watched any games so I must ask...how is the quality of the diving...9.5?
So far I haven't seen any blatant diving... perhaps because the refs in the last few years have been harsher about "simulation".
The new technology has made for a few razor-thin offside calls, but the one thing that is odd about this World Cup so far - please, learned pundits weigh-in and educate us - is the seemingly exorbitant amount of extra time awarded in each game. 3 to 4 minutes is par for the course, but it seems as if every game so far has had 10+ minutes of extra time! Thoughts?

Canada did well against world #2 Belgium. They were fearless and had the Beelgians back on the defensive quite often.
I guess the Canadians didn't quite have the same finishing finesse though, and the one major mistake Canada made, Belgium scored on. I guess them's the breaks.
However Canada's definitely a contender in these matches now - this Canada team is so much better than the one I saw get blown out by Mexico several years ago at BC Place.
I also got to see some other good matches, but the late-night to morning times mean I will likely miss more than I see.
Well, the technician came and went and I got 2 new boxes for free. And thankfully, he didn't show up until after the Canada/Belgium game was done.

Dublin calling has soccer all day and even the bistro bar has it on their TVs as well. I watched the USA vs England in both places.
