Has anyone else been hit extremely hard this winter by the flu?
Before this winter I hadn’t been sick for almost a decade. One week after getting the flu shot I got a mild case of flu. Barely noticed it, and was better in a few days. Then, two months later I got a worse case, with the usual symptoms, that wiped out Christmas.
Now, two months on, and I’ve been hit with one of the worst, longest lasting flu I’ve ever had. No sore throat this time, but jumped straight into tiredness, muscle aches, no appetite (I didn’t eat anything for 3 days), some minor sniffling, but a wracking cough. Had a fever and chills, but that seems to have eased. Now I’ve added diarrhea, which is weird considering I have barely eaten. Trying to stay hydrated, but spend almost all day asleep.
Anyone else suffered like this?
The good part is, I’ve lost some weight, and wasn’t on any social media for 5 days, so haven't noticed the world ended.
