Edmonton has ten times the number of Massage Parlours to Winnipeg. The nice places managed by women attract the really hot supermodel, and playboy bunny type.

Lets not even talk about Montreal my god I need to find a way to live there.

I have often thought about opening up a massage parlour. I would perfer it if someone else female did though. I hear it is hard to get a license is that true?

I know there are girls that want to work just nothing nice and properly managed has popped up.

I also heard that a license can be taken away pretty quickly also.....

I think if you bought one you would end up like heather and her goofball husband. It would be a great idea though to get Eric out of neavada's and restore it to what it was , and get that owner out of moonlight and make it a higher class shithole like it was before
Moonlight owner will always remain in business - has the whole building and the business on the main floor. Never fixes anything!! Ladies run it themselves. Was not bad when Kristy was still there awhile back, but lately there is a group of ladies there that have teamed together in trying to demand $$ (above the low room fee) for service whether it is 1/2 hr or full hour. Their service is very poor and doubt if anyone gets to stay an hour. These ladies also advertise as indys and think that $$ is what they should always receive. The place is the worst it has ever been!! Will never go there again!!! BW apparently has some ladies also trying to demand the same. Wpg must have the worst choice for MPs of all the larger cities. Edmonton, Mtrl and TO are part of heaven!! Laws in Wpg would never allow new MPs being setup. :-( The city would rather see ladies in this business live dangerous lives.

I don't think the Winnipeg MP scene will ever improve, and if anything decline over the coming years. It all has to do with the parochial attitude of the city council and its bureaucracy.

Same Criminal Code across Canada; completely different application, attitude and enforcement here compared to the rest of the country.

Jessie's on Agnes St. Closed by LE. Club 205. Shut down. Club 222 on Sherbrook. Bulldozed. Expansion and renovations of Broadways. Shutdown due to zoning violations. Rainbow Place. Bulldozed.

No more licenses being granted. Radical feminist dogma has a firm grip on the development and application of rules and regulations in Winnipeg.

Also, it's a small backwater rural town mentality. This is the same city that gave the world the windowless beer parlour, wouldn't let people walk around with a drink in their hands in pubs (until recently) and won't let supermarkets sell booze. Bottle service in night clubs is illegal. You have to finish your drink before you order another.

Better chance setting something up outside city limits.

For an entrepeneur that thinks he can make money running a professional operation, there probably wouldn't be much problem buying one of the lesser MP's and turning it around. Broadways, Moonlight, even Osborne Health Clinic could be the source of a license that could be used... these spots aren't getting any investment by the owners, I'm sure they'd love to get their money out....

If you were to buy an mp and run a clean establishment with classy ladies you would see a lot of business from me, most of the ladies in the business do not seem to have the sense to realize that good service brings return business

It makes u wonder if the people who are so proud of themselves foe shutting down these establishment are proud that Winnipeg has claimed the title as the most violent city in Canada, take Jesse for example the city of Winnipeg dedicated hundreds of manhours and thousands of dollars to make a criminal out of her for doing nothing more than providing a service that the more enlightend consider neccesary for a healthy society, in Europe places like that are called wellness centers

As some may recall, a few years ago, the owner of Broadways did try to re-invest in the business by developing the main floor. It had new rooms with heart-shaped tubs. I had one session in there. Then the city shut it down shortly after opening. Some trumped-up zoning/licensure violation charge. The owner couldn't get the city to be flexible and he had to rip the tubs out...and take a loss on the development. There's another business on the main floor now.
