My original question was more with regard to any hotel / motel that might be a problem for SP's in that the managment objected to the activity and paid unusual attention to unaccompanied ladies entering the property. From reading I understand that Canadian law regarding SP's underwent a major change a year or two ago. Apparently some jurisdictions pay more attention to the new laws than others. Not knowing if Winnipeg LE pays much attention to SP activities I'm just trying to do some home work and not inadvertently cause a problem.
You should be OK at any hotel if you are asking her to come to you, in a busy hotel she comes in, heads straight for the elevator and heads up to your room, no one will stop her.
There was a recent news report about the police circulating info about identifying SPs, this being handed out to certain hotels that travelling SPs are known to frequent, i.e; make reservations. If you are staying at a hotel and asking her to visit you, no problem, as this is the reverse of the pattern LE is most attentive to. Other than that as far as hotels are concerned local LE has not done much yet, as far as I know.
Just PM us for the names of hotels the ladies
do not usually frequent, and stay at one of those if you want to improve your risk management. This would mean actually
avoiding the airport and downtown. Airbnb is another thought. Or if you are here for at least a week, rent a condo.
