Which are your preferred condoms?

twice working, and three times in my personal life over the years. obviously my experience is anecdotal, and possibly wasn't using them correctly in my personal life, but...I'm just super turned off by them. 
I've only ever used Lifestyles for making a rubber tree. Never knowingly for their intended purpose.
When I'm sitting in my Doc's office waiting, looking at the poster on the wall, I'm always amazed at how poorly condoms perform as a form of birth control.
Wouldn't you just throw it away after it breaks the first time - instead of re-using and watching it break - multiple times ??? :

Hold it by the end and shake the fuck out of it.
I like the free ones they give away at the clinic or any drop in center why buy when they are giving them away at least I use them
Size-wise, is there a quality condom made that is somewhere between regular size and magnum? If there is such a medium-large sized condom and the quality was good, then that would be my preferred condom.
I use Durex for the toys and Trojans bareskins large for Jr. I like them because I have a bit of girth, and they don't strangle junior. I also add a little lube on Jr. Before placing the condom as it adds more sensitivity and makes it more comfy. Skyns large are also good, and have a better smell than the Trojans, plus can be used for those who have allergy to latex. I have tried a few of the Japanese brands,, but they all seem to tight.
