Probably overused by metalheads, but Master of Puppets by Metallica is the one that had the biggest impact on me.

Alice Cooper- he’s still touring, saw him at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre about 5 ? Years ago- it’s like he doesn’t age!! Consummate Showman!!
Saw Uriah Heep in Virginia in 74. they were the headliner, Elvin Bishop opened and some upstart named Rod Stuart and Faces was the middle group.

Impossible question as one discovery led into the next and the another and another. However the song that changed me was hearing Truckin’ by the Grateful dead. That took me on a journey with that band that still continues today.

Gotta agree with the folks that said Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall has to be the worst Pink Floyd album ever.

Technically not albums, but all greatest hits on cassette. I damn near wore them out and blew the speakers in my car tape deck in high school:

Rolling Stones Greatest hits - full album
Led Zeppelin Greatest hits
Steve Miller band Greatest hits 1974-78 --> Who doesn't love this one!?!!
