Call me dense, but what does this issue have to do with not showing the ad? I mean, it's not like Telus was abusing the hippo. Or is Telus merely being sensitive to the situation?

Yep, they paid a huge amount of money to those money grubbing assholes at the zoo. Supposedly it was to fund the new enclosure for the hippo. Nine months later, construction hadn't even been started. Telus is no doubt wanting to remove themselves from the neglectful treatment. I went to that zoo once. The conditions are appalling. The staff is, for the most part, indifferent teenagers who do minimum work for minimum pay. Compare that to the Metro Zoo in T.O, which has a team of zoologist and specializing vets on hand.
