I had a conversation with a gentleman the other day, and he got me thinking. I have never met him, but we have talked a lot. He is into fetishes, but said, "I always want to try something new. After I try it, I want to take it to the next step." It got me wondering, how far is too far. If people keep wanting to take it to the next step, some people are going to get into some seriousely dangerous and sick stuff.
I don't offer fetishes with clients. Not like that anyway. With my hubby, I get into fetishes from time to time. it depends on how raunchy we feel that day. I have asked him to choke me out in the past. Which, I can admit, with him, was hot and fun. There was a strange arousal from it. I could never enjoy it with a client though.
But I really got wondering after talking to this guy, when is it too much? Do they realise when they are about to cross the line, or do they want to keep pushing themselves?

There is no 'THEY', as in you can't paint the 'fetishists' with the same brush. Only individuals. You have to deal with it on a case by case basis. Trust your instincts and use common sense.

In terms of your question, fetish is not that different from other things in life: porn, gambling, alcohol, eating, shopping, hobbies, religion, etc.

I had a friend who pushed it a little far and ended up dead..... he had a couple close calls up to then also that I heard about after, so he just never learned. It was with the choking till blackout that got him.
