Well at the very least, no one is ever attracted to cynical and jaded. If you don't show interest in a woman, she won't give you the time of day.

Personally, I believe that one should wait until a little later in life. I think that it does change ones view of intimacy. and can create a wall that keeps one from pursuing traditional relationships and the emotional rewards they can bring.

I read the posts on how it is "cheaper' to see professionals than traditional relationships. To me, this is very short-sighted and reduces the value of romance to only the physical benefits. For me, the value of true romance completely goes beyond the borders of a physical relationship.

and I do know that, for me, the frequent use of professional companionship including longer term arrangements has reduced my pursuit of more traditional romance and the depth that they can bring.

Ahh for me it was around 30. When one day it came to me out of the blue.
