What's up with SP Web Sites and the loud crappy music

Is it me or is the loud, obnoxious music on SP’s websites as crappy and distracting as I think it is. SP’s talk about discretion all the time, but what about a guy sitting in his office who checks out your website and suddenly this loud crappy music comes blaring through his speakers. The whole office is suddenly staring at him and he cannot get away from your site fast enough. That is just a single example, and for the married guys, I could list endless examples of why music is such a bad idea. Furthermore it shows little or no discretion or forethought on the SP's part, if you ask me.
Who told you girls you needed music as a selling point? They were idiots, if you ask me. It seems to me the music is there for the SP and has nothing to do with advertising. Ladies, in my humble opinion your sites should be for the eyes and the mind. Keep your musical tastes, and volume, to yourselves.

I had the same thing happen to me, lol...

I was on my laptop and I went to an sps website and all the sudden the loud music comes on (It was loud because of the volume on my laptop, I guess). I didn't know how to turn down the volume on my laptop; I am flipping it all around, trying to find the volume controller... not realizing it is a setting in the laptop... not outside of it....doh!

lol, I did the same in the middle of the night, I could not sleep so I went on this new website and the speaker was blasting with some rap music.

i have never had that happen though but on MISTYs site the music goes with with seeing her as a sexy girl.

Admittedly not all the music on SP sites is loud and obnoxious, just most of them. What influenced my decision to start the thread was I was at my desk in my home office this morning and clicked on a local SP’s Website. My speakers were about half way up, but the noise, ok music, that suddenly assaulted me got the neighbour’s dog barking, scared the crap out of my friend in the other room and damn near set off the car alarms for blocks. Luckily I know where the back button is on my mouse or my windows may not have survived. If the music is a refelction of the service, then I need to do more situps before even thinking about contacting that SP.
Good or bad music, I simply do not see the point. If you need music to make your site look or seem sexy, get better pictures and better web designer. JMHO

Call me superficial but I can usually get a good impression of someone by the music they like.

People go to SP sites for 2 reasons. To look at the pictures and see the prices.

Nah, I always read the bio, etiquette and FAQ sections first. Sometimes there is even a blog! Sexy Nina's is great!

I agree. If guys only wanted to look at the pictures and prices. We would all have 1 page websites.

I think some guys just care if you're hot and how expensive/cheap you are, but I find the majority of my clients take the time to read my whole site. They want to know me a little, build a connection somewhat before we even meet. I love that.

It also means the difference between bringing me milk chocolate or dark chocolate. How do you know which one to bring if you don't read my website (just kidding, sort of )

No joke

Years ago I convinced a very very anal Controller at work to check out the Swedish Touch Website...this really lame music came out with a woman talking about living out your fantasies with the most beautiful women in the world...and of course...the VP of Finance came around the corner to talk to him!!! I quickly got the hell out of there, trying not to laugh my ass off!!!!
