LK - on the surface you seem to have made a racists statement. Only poor blacks are capable of such low morale conduct. Only a poor black would rape a woman in a refugee shelter... Only a poor black would shoot at a helicopter that was coming to rescue people.

You can explain it away with a division between the rich and the poor... but to me there is a division between the moral and the immoral.

You supported George Bush who used southern strategy to win. Southern Strategy, as you know, is designed to eliminate/minimize civil rights, quality educational development and social programs for poor southern Blacks.

Is this moral what the the Louisana Governor stated? Is this the Christian thing to say?

A Canadian had this to say:

"I'm not sure I'm going to get out of here alive," said Canadian tourist Larry Mitzel, who handed a reporter his business card in case he goes missing. "I'm scared of riots. I'm scared of the locals. We might get caught in the crossfire."

LD, why do you continue to take pot shots and implicate Southern Blacks as immoral? Are you trying to make a case for the continuation of Southern Strategy for the sole purpose of winning elections for those that fulfill your ideas for government?

Yes. A country has to receive permission to enter another country, even if it is offering help that it assumes the other country needs.

Otherwise, people will question your true motives and call you invaders. This will lead to guerilla warfare, suicide bombers, all that stuff.

Which of George Bush, Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld gets to keep the framed gold embossed invitation that Saddam Hussein sent out prior to the "liberation" of Iraq? Or do they share it? A week at one guy's place, then a week at the next, etc. etc. Damn! I was able to keep a straight face right up to the point of typing "liberation".

Hatrick, I was there. What you are referring to is a regional conflict that was not caused by the Tsunami. It was going on for years before and will continue afterwards. You can't compare this to snipers taking potshots at a police precinct in downtown New Orleans. The former is fueled by political ideology, the latter by crime and thuggery.
