Seriously, don't you guys have any other MPs worth visiting than Sugarland?
Sugarland sounds worth a trip south on the QE2 all by itself but there's got to be more to Calgary's MP scene than that??

Calgary is pretty much the opposite of Edmonton.
In Edmonton, the MP scene and the Indie girls is where the action is at and the Escorts are minimal.
In Calgary, the Escorts and Indie girls are where the action is and the MP scene is very minimal.
Not sure why this is, but I believe it pretty much boils down to the way the bylaws and viewpoint of city council in each of these cities.
The amazing consistency at Sugarland makes it all worthwhile. Before her, we had the "Mike-ro" (run by Mike in the Beltline). Other than that, the Asian micro scene in Calgary is a bunch of lame Bait & Switch places with no desire or understanding of how to build client loyalty & focus on repeat customers. There is a pretty strong following for Sugar in Calgary, and for good reason. We love SL because Sugar takes care of us. I've had good times elsewhere, but the hassle of uncovering a gem consumes a lot of time & energy. SL is as close to a sure thing as I've found. I've yet to leave one of her girls pissed off or feeling that I wasted my money. Sadly, I can't say the same for other Calgary micros or MPs...
