I live at three thousand feet and those suckers grew like crazy in the shade, and you can throw the leaves , and flowers in your salad.
I have to be careful what I grow for landscaping....and I use the word landscaping loosely , just in case my stock gets out and consumes it, and gets poisoned.
I couldn't believe how well they did, and how good they looked....I was above my place at about a thousand feet in July , and all you could see around my house was clusters of yellows and orange down below me.
Anything else I tried in the past just withered and died in the August heat, but they did great.
Thank you.....Always the woman of grace.Hooked on Phonics....
Nasturtiums sy...my mom grew them when I was growing up & I love them.
Hardly, but thank you. Takes me back to my childhood. In my grandfather's garden there was a bed of nasturtiums which was a blaze of colour, year after year. They are annuals and selfl-seeded. I spent many, many happy days in that garden. Ah, memories! Thanks Bud!
I have no idea if your right, but chances are your better qualified.
I have to collect the pods and store them.....they will reseed themselves, but the -25 to- 36 temps in January seem to cut it down by 99%., if I get any at all.Hardly, but thank you.
