Folks, with the arrival of vaccine cards and protests galore, there is a ton of misinformation being spread around as fact. Some of the more virulent anti-mask/anti-vax/anti-card folks have in recent weeks verbally and physically assault health workers, blocked access to hospitals and cancer clinics, and generally have taken to berating and harassing those who have chosen to get vaccinated and follow public health orders.
As stated on numerous occasions, polite debate of the various positions is fine. But when links are posted to questionable sources, like one today deleted that stated the vaccines have killed more people than COVID has, they will be deleted and the person posting them warned or banned depending on their track record.
This virus has killed over 4.5 million people around the world, 27,000 in Canada. Those people, and the health care professionals fighting to save lives deserve your respect and thanks, not your derision and insults. There are a host of forums out there you can post this nonsense and find support among others like your yourselves. PERB is not one of those places and if you want to stay a member here, keep your conspiracies and made up facts to yourselves.
