Hi everybody.
Has anybody out there met up with any of the providers that advertise on VanPeople?
I was up late last night looking at the ads and some of them piqued my interest so I added them to my contacts on WeChat.
Some of the ads were from agencies but a lot of them looked like independents so I sent a friend request to several of them.
The request defaults with a message that simply says "Hi."
There were a few responses that accepted my request so I replied to tell them that I saw their ad on VanPeople and that I was adding them to my contacts for future reference.
The majority of them said okay so I thanked them but there were a few that didn't reply as it was late and they were probably booked off.
Some of the ads did not connect, stating that it was busy and to try again at a later time so I wrote down their WeChat contact to try again this morning.
A few hours ago, I received a reply from one ad that accepted my friend request so I told them that I was adding them for future reference.
They sent several replies with their address, rates, etc.
All of a sudden, I get a couple of strange passive/aggressive messages asking why I'm bothering all the girls and asking whether I'm sick.
I messaged back to ask why they were asking me that but did not receive a response.
I tried a couple more times to ask why they sent that message but that contact ended up blocking me.
This really confused me as I had been polite in my responses so I didn't understand what was going on with them.
When I got back home, I tried to add the WeChat contacts that I wrote down from earlier that didn't connect on the first try and it turned out that at least seven of them were connected to the same person/agency.
There was no way of knowing this as all the contacts were of different user names and I had absolutely no idea that they were all connected.
Even though these seven ads were all linked together, they all listed different girls that I was interested in and they didn't appear to be part of an agency.
Now I understand why they asked what they did but I still don't understand how it can considered 'bothering all the girls' when I was just adding a contact.
I didn't send any rude, vulgar, explicit, aggressive or condescending replies nor did I bargain any rates/services or send multiple messages asking all sorts of questions.
In the future, it's going to be difficult for me to book through VanPeople if this person/agency keeps putting up so many ads.
Your thoughts about this?
