USA vs Russia, East vs West
With the cold war and 2 opposing forces, control of the technological advances were slow and gave companies an opportunity to capitalize on their tech. With the fall of the Berlin Wall and the USSR, companies had to capitalize there opportunities for profit as fast as they could. This contributed to the global economy, which contributed to the fall of manufactured products in the Western World, which ended up mostly in Eastern countries where there was a cheaper labour pool. Profits for companies rose, and the beeline was now to make money for the investors (stock markets)
Murphy's Law, he with the most money makes the rules.
So its now the rich oligarchs in the West (led by the USA) and Russia that are now controlling everything.
In the states its the attitude that Russia is our enemy by the rich and the privileged that makes Russia the enemy. See Netflix History of the USA. After WW2 the rich and privileged made Russia the enemy, fearing the communist state and the loss of their privileges.
In my humble opinion, most people in this world want to have a family, a house, work hard, be safe from war/crime and have a nice bbq on the weekend with their friends and family.
Who the F**k screwed this up?
The USA is declaring war in trade with all its former allies... making friends with Russia or the rich oligarchs their old enemy....
