Never interfere with cops in US. Federal Offence and very big trouble. To even suggest it is idiotic.

Westwoodrow nor anyone else suggested the doctor interfered. Someone made a comment as to why other passengers did not interfere with the cops dragging this guy off the plane.
Which would be a huge mistake as WW pointed out.

Cheers
How you guys think the doctor interfered I will not understand.
It was the doctor's seat because he was already checked in, allowed to board and take his seat. What did he do wrong? How did he interfere?
WW and JB are both right. You do not want to interfere with U.S. law enforcement. They have this idea that they are judge, jury and too often, executioner. The only action bystanders could do is video the incident. This seems to be the only way LE can be held to account.

I was not referring to the passenger who was removed.
I was referring to posters who wondered why nobody stepped in to stop the police.

As a frequent flyer - UA didn't own up to shit. Air Canada and United have always treated people like human trash unless you've got status or are riding in business, that's it.

The fear tactics they've employed (or rather, the society at large have given them: because 9/11) has finally been put under the "common sense and decency" scope of the public.

"Munoz called the incident “a system failure across the board.” He said outdated policies and procedures, which focused more on operations and logistics than customers put all those involved in “impossible situation"
This is a load of garbage. Your company's policies should have never trespasses on my own person's civil liberality and safety or put simply - it is not okay for you to your policy of it harms another person in any way.

This isn't denying service because of a religious conflict - that'd be the same as denying them to board.

This is as if the baker has made the cake, and when the person picks it up they go "naw, another Dr. Dao needs it, so go fuck yourself", and when the patrons complained, they physically assaulted them and then toss them out of the bake shop. While people are filming them and blowing up Twitter.

Even though I've never been bumped not have I been denied boarding, I know how frustrating it can be and in the end, it was another human being United attempted to bully out of the plane. It's like a black person refusing stop and frisk, I say good on him!!

System Failure?

It was United who dragged Dr Dao off the plane. The system did not.
United put the four employees ahead of the four paying passengers.
United decided to bump them.
United called the cops.
Fuck Munoz. Lying evasive piece of shit.
He can't own up to it because he is afraid of liability.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Heard the guy settled with United. Wonder how many millions he got?

Also heard on the news last night that United will now offer up to $10,000.00 to anyone willing to give up their seat.
That will be interesting going forward. Now when they ask for volunteers you can bet people are going to just sit back while they sweeten the pot. Then you have to hope someone doesn't take the offer before you. Kind of like their own game show.

I'll be the guy yelling from his seat "Make it $20k and a 12 hour dinner date with Peyton oh and she cooks it as well"
