The problem is the Covid thing and its effect on the economy. Its only because we are a socialist country that Canada has survived so far, with its decrease in economy.
The problem here in Canada is manufacturing jobs. Shit like retail, small business is not going to work, without cheap material to make things with/manufacture. Metals, wood and plastics. We need to make our own.

Transportation needs to be increased, A federal plan while using Provincial and local input. Trains, Planes and automobiles. Supertrains between major cities. A more connected superstructure for hydro and electricity transmission.

More northern development, means access to more raw materials.

Trudeau actually didn't attend this particular ceremony as he was attending another one that day for Canadian fallen at Dieppe I think. But still any good leader needs to respect the solemn and importance of ceremony that was organized memorializing and remembering their fallen. Trump did not and he had other options to get there.
