I think we will find out in the not too distant future that Trump had early stage alzheimer's by the time he became president. And perhaps not even that early stage based on tweets and retweets he has been making.

Sure the CNN poll has the Satisfaction vs Dissatisfaction of Donald Trump something like 30 - 70%.
What Maher and Moore are saying is Trump's base when polled hasn't waivered since the election in their support of their guy.
Democrats need to get someone who doesn't care if his or her knuckles get bloodied. As far as I can tell, they don't have anyone who can lead going into 2020. Hard to imagine after this first year of daily drama that #45 could quite possibly get re-elected.

What a lot of people are doing now is looking for someone in a position of authority who will feed into their 'confirmation bias'. Facts and reality, as mentioned, don't matter. Education is the answer, but if people choose to not educate themselves, or dismiss knowledge as 'fake news', and embrace a false reality, then I don't know what the answer is.
Asperger syndrome. As referenced on Wikipedia.
Note his lack of social skill. No known friends other than business contacts he can exploit.
Obama and Bush both had longtime pals visit the White House just to hang out.
His wife Melania cannot stand him, she stayed in NYC rather than live with him.
Lack of empathy. He is more interested in golf and trivialities than welfare of others. Example, he did not acknowledge the serious and fatal destroyer accident in the Sea of Japan.
Speech and language: he often talks nonsense and contradicts himself in speeches and on twitter. He has tantrums over satirical portrayals of himself. No sense of humour. Look how he had a fit over Saturday Night Live and the "failing" newspapers that criticise him.
Or ADD? Note his inability to focus on complex issues. He often rambles off into unrelated topics and it looks like he cannot remember what he was talking about.
Also how he denies saying things that he definitely did say. A good example is the pussy grab comment. There are several interviews with him insisting he never said it, yet it is well documented. He sometimes denies things that wrote in his own tweets.
He is a social cripple and has no idea what is going on. I still think he is a frontman and Pence et al are actually running things.
A great many people in our society are along the Asperger and or ADD/ADHD spectrum. None that I know are as f***ked up as 45
I think it's smart for Dems to keep their challengers on the sidelines, while the Republican Party shoots itself in the foot. They had years to heap dirt on Hillary so her campaign was already had an uphill task before it began.
