Thinking of switching cell phone from Fido to Telus

Damn, that didn't help at all, 17 thought Telus are the same as or better than fido but 14 think they blow! What's a girl to do?

There is an amazing deal on now though; free phone(even a cameraphone) when you trade in a connected phone from another company, plus you get free service for a year (not including the $6.95 access fee) plus the $25 plan has UNLIMITED incoming calls, which is what all my calls are!

I just might deal with the devil...the only catch is you have to get a new number, which totally BLOWS! By the time that changes, the deal will be gone! Pooh! I have to decide by Friday.

My only choice is to trade in my other phone (AT & T) which I already know totally blows and then forward my work cell to it, until everyone has my new number, then I can trade in my current work phone for something newer, like the blackberry!! Oh but that deal might be gone soon too...Ack!

Well, based on the results of the poll, telus was only 45% likely to blow, so I did trade in my AT &T/Rogers phone for the newest Samsung camera phone, which is awesome!! Futtbucker hooked me up with a friend who works in a cool shop, off the beaten track, so I got service right away, and was able to barter for the fees and a gorgeous case. I will up with the massage whenever he likes! And thanks futtbucker for the hook-up!

My friend told me it was really clear sounding when I called her, and I was driving at the time. I have also taken 40 pictures since friday, which is fun since I didn't have a camera.

I am impressed with the deal I got, free phone with trade-in, normally a $35 hook-up charge, and $25 a month with unlimited incoming calls!! Since I mainly use my cell for work, that is awesome!! I will never go over on minutes, and I can use the 100/1,000 min for personal calls . Plus at the moment, if you commit to 3 years, the first year is free!! So I will only pay $6.95 access fee, and the $7 bundle for a full year!! Mama like!! Also bartered the $25 extra to get 889-LUCY. Gotta like extras,lol.
