The list loses all credibility with me if they have Heathrow in the top 10. That place makes you feel like cattle. Lots of unnecessary walking around and the people that work there are dicks. I will never make the mistake going to that airport. I'd rather go to another country and get into England by boat or tunnel.

And while they have lots of shops, 99% of them are hilariously overpriced.
LHR is the third busiest airport in the World after Atlanta and Beijing handling over 72,000,000 travellers in 2013.

I am impressed they also got on "the best list" too.

:clap2:

Edit to add - Brits have never been known for friendly service. They are equally snarly everywhere around London. You will find service staff are a lot friendlier everywhere else especially North of the Thames. ;)

The question is, on what basis did they rate the airports?
I've been through 8 of the top 12 airports in their latest ranking, and I wonder why a few of them are rated as high as they are.
Is it based on diversity of shopping? Not a good measure as most are overpriced.
Admittedly, it has been quite a few years since I was in Beijing Capital, but I wouldn't have included that one from how I remember it.
And I am surprised that San Fran is at 40, when I consider that to be one of the more pleasant US airports to go through.
