... I would put on a small machine shop, blacksmith shop, and wood working shop.
They probably had the blacksmith and woodworking shops on every ship that carried explorers and colonists during the age of European exploration and colonisation. Welcome to the 16th century!

I wonder what sort of fabricating facilities today's oligarchs put on their super-yachts?

What would you have on your perfect boat?
Me I would put a solar, wind plant.
I would put on a small machine shop, blacksmith shop, and wood working shop.
So you want like…. A garage on floats!

Me? I want a James Bond evil villain mega-yacht with secret panels that open up releasing jet skis with machine guns mounted on the handlebars, an Austin Powers psychadelic heli-pad, hydraulically deployed hydrofoils with a good number of lycombing high horsepower engines for rapid beer runs or booty calls, a huge gambling room and disco for killer parties, a lower deck for fishing/diving/treasure hunting, a kinky dungeon next to the engine room, a 5-star gourmet galley complete with big boobie chefs that are not hard to look at, a totally Shagadelic master stateroom with Heinekin “walk-in fridge”, massive electronics in the pilot house with FV-Dotcom style screens that always show huge fish streaking to the surface, an indoor/outdoor entertainment centre with enough speaker power to fill a jib sail.

That’s a start, I will think up a few more additions before the sun sets on this project.

Twin mount 20 mm oerlikons to ward off marauding pirates.
I would go with a chain gun, small burst to conserve ammo. I think the biggest chain gun is on the A-10 30mm.
Unfortuneately international law when you visit other countries you have to declare weapons. Most will hold them for you while in country.
