Hello my fellow Apple lovers on perb.

The New iPad.. The 3rd Generation iPad is going to be out soon!!!!!

It was just a year after they releasd iPad 2, and there is this new one already!
Hmmmmmm...... what to do with my iPad 2 now....

Resolution
The rumour was right.

Four times more pixels than iPad 2. Razor-sharp text. Richer colors. The Retina display transforms the entire iPad experience. So everything looks and feels incredibly lifelike and perfectly detailed.

The Retina display on the new iPad features a 2048-by-1536 resolution, 44 percent greater color saturation, and an astounding 3.1 million pixels — in the same 9.7-inch space. That’s four times the number of pixels in iPad 2 and a million more than an HDTV.

iSight Camera

The 5-megapixel iSight camera features a backside illumination sensor that captures great-looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight. Autofocus, tap to focus, and tap to set exposure functions mean every photo you take instantly becomes a frameworthy gem. And with built-in face detection that automatically balances focus and exposure across up to 10 faces, there’s more room for more grins. So everyone look at iPad and say “Cheese.”

4G LTE

The new iPad supports fast cellular networks the world over — up to 4G LTE.2 So you can browse the web, stream content, or download a movie at blazing-fast speeds.

I have no plan on switching to The New iPad yet as I only have using this iPad2 for less than a year.

If any of you get one, please share your experience and thought about it!!!

Meh... If you got an iPad 2 it is probably not worth upgrading right now. If your still using the 1st Gen iPad or don't have one then it is worth picking up.

I may be getting one of these now that they have LTE.

75 t0 100 MB/s is pretty amazing when you consider some days when I tether my smart phone to my laptop I get 2 MB/s.

Woo Hooooo
I would love to hear how is it.

I'm most interested in the speed of processing.
I'm pretty happy about the resolution now, but may go check out at a iStore how great it is.
Then, playing Final Fantasy on iPad will be 10times better!

I have the iPad 1.
I love it.
I can't imagine better screen resolution, it's so good already.
But....sharper pictures of Yoko..... Hmmm....I may have to look into it.

Apple needs to make a waterproof version....I know there are different cases out. I have one...it if the unit itself was weather proof, that would be great

700k fewer pixels than my monitor though.

If it has 4 times as many pixels, and is twice as fast as the iPad2, then graphic performance will twice as slow on the new machine. More pixels is not allways a good thing. It would slow down video as well, since nothing is shot at that resolution and would have to be re-rendered on the fly.

No front facing camera?

Yup, and the iPad2 is now a $100 less expensive.

I already have a mega-pixel camera on my phone, so the rear facing camera isn't going to make me rush out and buy one.
Cameras on phones are pathetic anyway.

Why would anyone be using their tablet as a camera anyway?
