Dad was a huge Johnny Cash Fan, Mom, an Ella Fitzgerald Fan. So not that this is accurate but I think:
JC's Ring of Fire
EF's honestly not sure but when I listen to her early songs today, they are all intimately familiar.

Mitch Miller lp’s with the sing along lyrics.
I do remember the Beatles on Ed Sullivan but that was later.

It’s been a while but I do remember my mum was a huge fan of Frank Sinatra. Probably the Rat Pack in general and she played it loud!

Now that you mention it, both Mom and Dad had Dean Martin 45's playing.
Explains why I have about 80% of everything he ever did in my mp3 collection!

I listen to this almost everyday really loud absolutely one of my fav oldies songs.
Such a classic:)

Must have been maybe 13 years ago I was playing on the net and I came across a post by the then new (to me) "Playing for Change" and a song led by street musician Roger Ridley. (I actually was in LA on a day when he was playing circa 2002 or so and he was so good it stopped me in my tracks). Anyway the P4C folks put together their rendition and it gets me - every time.

Long story short, I had an incredible crush on my teacher, and she taught us this song, and she sang it frequently.
To this day that song is special to me.
I used to wish that we were together that teacher and I.
Guys remember that first crush, for most it just isn't probably at age 7, and their teacher lol
