The reason so many are missing is because most were taken down to comply with rules set forth by licensing. We have no desire to 'poke the bear' as it were.
I do not believe that licensing states that you can't have pictures, but rather they regulate the content of the pictures, as in no nudity or sex acts in the pictures.
Most guys would prefer a nice modest picture or two to get an idea of the girls physical aspect and get an inkling of personality What is it about the pictures of the girls at Supreme that would have licensing taking such an interest, more than other studios with pictures of their girls? So, the pictures that were taken down did not comply with licensing rules?
The girls have all been given a timeframe to get new photos done. They are working on it but it doesn't happen overnight!
How long
should it really take? Overnight, week, fortnight, month.......like it seems that it has been months upon months that is has been going on. Digital camera, nice rooms, nice girl, picture or two, cable from camera to computer, and upload. Couple hours at minimum to a week at most. Professional pics take longer, but there really is no need for that, a couple photos in the studio or a nice hotel room or park would suffice.
I realize how frustrating it must be to not know what the girls look like but we are ensuring that when you do find the right girl, the boys in blue won't be interrupting you mid session. I think right now safety and compliance with bylaw trumps advertising.
Why would bylaw, AKA "boys in blue" have issue with generic, non provocative pictures, many studios have pictures on their website without issue. Compliance goes without saying, but why does it take so long to take a picture that is "in compliance", as opposed to "non compliance"? Why would the pictures you are putting up be subject to so much scrutiny by bylaw?
Supreme has been around for a long time because of their excellent relationship with the authorities, and they plan to stick around for a long time to come.
If you have and excellent relationship with the authorities then you should be well aware of the type of pictures needed for the website to be in compliance. Again, what is so unique about your pictures that takes so much time and such a concern about the scrutiny of bylaw?
So some of you would rather just book a session with a lady based soley on her website picture, which could be very well 5 years and 50 pounds ago? What happens when you arrive for your appointment and find out that's she's not really what you expected? Do you just tell her she's not your type and that you're not interested, which seems rude, or do you you just go through with it, which usually leads to a bad and awkward session?
Mick, I don't think anybody, especially me said anything about
"just book a session with a lady based solely on her website picture". But a picture is a valid criteria to use when choosing a girl for a session. If she is 5 years older and 50 pounds heavier, that is all the more reason to update pictures on a website, let's have a little truth in advertising. The physical aspect of this hobby cannot be denied, there is a reason that most of the better looking girls get a lot of clients. If the picture is 5 years old and/or the girl is 50 pounds heavier, I would think that would be an issue for most guys, and she should be updating her information. If I go to a studio and the girl has misrepresented herself to me to a great degree, I would have no issue with leaving. If I am using a service and it is vastly different from what was advertised, you can be damn sure I am going to have an issue with it. Any studio that uses that kind of marketing strategy should be on it's way towards the bottom of the quality studios and belongs there. I don't really have many bad sessions due to my doing a huge amount of research before booking. That includes pictures, some type of a profile, peer reviews and contact if possible with the girl in question.
Myself, I first like to do my research on a lady who interests me by reading her reviews and gathering intel. If she has pictures up, then great, that's an extra bonus. I'm not going to go out of my way to drive and meet her, but if one day I'm in the area and she's working, then fine. She might win me over and get me to stay then and there, or I might end up coming back on another day.
You seem to have an ongoing theme in your posts that a picture is not a valid criteria to use for booking a girl. In my opinion, a picture tells a lot about a person, there is a reason for the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Although not as important as a review, men are going to use the looks of the girl as a fairly important criteria when choosing a girl to book with for a session.
For me first impressions is everything. Something you can't get based on a picture. I've changed my mind many times on seeing a hottie based on her attitude at the door, and transversely became a regular of many girls who won me over with their charm, and who I might have never stayed with just based on their picture or lack of it.
I agree that first impression are important, and that first impression comes from a picture, and a review or two. If one of those are missing, that is a concern for me. If one of those are "iffy" then most certainly something needs to addressed before a session is booked.
A visit can make a difference and that meeting can make or break it right there.
An example are two highly touted girls from a studio regarded as "the girl next door " studio. One girl had great pictures, mostly good reviews with some issues noted. I went to the studio and met her and I was prepared to have a session if the meet was good. Her attitude when meeting me was that I was wasting her time, by having her come say hi, so I had a session with an unknown girl that I just met at that studio and had a great time.
Another example was a girl with good pictures and mediocre reviews, and the meet was good, so I had a session with her. The session was pretty good, not exactly what I had anticipated but I was happy with the result.
In both of these cases, I would not have made the attempt to visit the studio and meet the girl if there were no pictures to see beforehand. Because there were pictures and they were of a girl that interested me, prompted me to pay a visit to the studio. If there were no pictures, I would just go to the next studio of interest and use the same criteria as before.
