I'm not into this kind of music but I'll be honest. This song has a wickedly awesome cool beat! This would big time fit it with stippers routine.

The pics don't hurt either.:D :D

This song wouldn't be considered new but it would be a good one to dance to. :)

Just one note from a patron

If you ladies could send around a memo to your fellow dancers, please let them know that this track has been overused. I can see why the dancers like it but I've now heard it during so many sets that I'm sick of it. One night, I think I actually heard it in three out of five sets I watched! Enough with the Timbaland already!!!

OMG no offense, guys... sorry, but these 2 songs have got to be the 2 worst songs I've heard, like EVER!! lol

Whew! Talk about irritating! Sorry but I wouldn't care who's dancing or getting naked, I wouldn't even be able to focus... I'd probably lose it if I had to hear the entire thing... and then have to hear it again. Just thinking about it makes my head hurt. Sorry, just not for me, I guess.

wow. That was powerful. I haven't tried to hit the 'pause' button that fast since accidently playing a porn vid with the volume on full blast on a computer at my very silent university library. Oops. It's, um, research.. :D

AJ - Good choice.. ;) Sexy. I thought that would kinda be the point? Well I suppose everyone idea of what they find sexy is different. I guess mine is slightly more on the suggestive side, a tad more subtle than full-out 'getting my pussy wet and dripping with sweat..'? :D

Hey. To each their own. ..

actually i couldnt agree more Miss Bijou, they are terrible songs (not to mention a request was made for NO techo).. i wasnt actually suggesting that david banner song, i suppose i didnt make my post clear enough... i was hinting towards the fact that terrible music gets more commercial success, which means we have to hear tripe like this in the clubs quite often..

my suggestion was for Kool Keith - Break U Off, which in my opinion is a great tune (but i am not a dancer so my imput lacks greatly im sure lol).. there is no video link for this song so take my word and go download it, or bother me and ill send it too ya.. or better yet ignore my post completely and never think of this song again :D

back in the day

There was a time when stripping was an art rather than a job or pass time. I realize it is probably easier for a lady to dance to some music they like rather than music they can't get into, but I think they should realize that their job is to entertain the audience. I will walk out of any bar that plays rap, dance, or techno crap ... I just can't stand that noise. I suppose if you find a large enough audience to listen to dance music, then go right ahead and do your thing.

Does anyone remember Casey Shields from the late 80s? Now that girl really knew how to entertain! Her music was carefully chosen, and she performed an act to the music/lyrics. The one show that really stands out was when she danced to the oldie "Please Wait a Minute Mister Postman". Casey came out in a post mistress outfit that would have knocked your socks off. In her little "letter bag" she had posters of herself which she hand delivered to the audience as part of her act. Anyone that got a poster got to meet her to get her autograph after the act. Anyway, the point is to entertain and not just dance.

Casey was the Western Canadian Exotic Dance Champion, but I'm not sure how she did in the Canadian finals. Those were the days when you had to get to places like the Austin or The Fraser Arms at 4:00pm just to get a seat for the evening festivities!

Just curious

Who exactly are you dancing for?????Your boyfriend?????Most patrons looking for a show are not in to that music. If you choose your music more wisely people will be much more in to your performance.Strippers today have no sense!!! If you want good stripping music that will likely be well received Prince is always a good choice.....Nothing beats a show to "Erotic city".........You should consider your audience!! I mean if you are dancing naked at SONAR then go hard with the hip hop........

Actually I just started dancing in clubs..... but I dont wanna be like the rest of the girls and dance to songs that were overplayed on the radio and well, everywhere else. Hence, why Im asking for everyones input. I was thinking more along the lines of not necessarily hip hop but something with the same beat so while Im still new I can dance.... Once I get more expirienced Ill be stripping to songs like "girls girls girls" by Montley Crue

Not that I'm any kind of expert considering it was a long time ago since I even saw a dancer, but you can't go wrong with older tunes. And before the pole became centre stage, it seemed to me the dancers did a lot of themes: big champagne glass bubble bath, magic acts, costumes, whatever it was there was always a bit more (like the Post Office theme). You could also go see the burlesque girls, wherever they perform. I bet they pick some retro music perfect for the bump and grind.:D
