Good day, Gentlemen

I ran into this on CL. Not the first time I’ve noticed this gibberish but I thought I would get another opinion or two. I know that, now I’m a senior citizen, I’m going to be a bit slow and miss things I shouldn’t but is there a key to this kind of post? Is there a secret decoder ring in use? (Jethro, help me out here!). I can’t understand the reason someone goes to the trouble of making this up and it makes no sense to me. Aside from some disjoint words, it means nothing. Is it me or her? Frustrated and old, M.

Some of it is understandable, but with considerable difficulty. The rest is gibberish. Does she not proofread her ads after she posts them?

However, at least she appears to be a real girl. Most of the ads on CL are from gay masseurs or trannies posing as natural women.

If you click on the "contact info", and send an email (not knowing if you will get a reply from an actual person, a female, or a sex bot), you do get a reply, from the actual Winnipeg female at the link below.
Her user name is Alexis Jade, some of you may know her or know of her.
If you Google "Alexis Jade", you get a number of Backpage ads, as well as ads from less reputable sites with her name and picture.

Thanks for both those answers, guys. I still say, "WTF". It seems like a lot of trouble to post an ad or to find an SP. Stay safe. M.

Well...no offense, but you said you are a senior citizen. She (and many others who are real) are 18 - 25 years old, and that is the way they communicate online. The way they talk in person is as bad, as you may know.
You, me & everyone has their own way of speaking & typing online. You probably confused senior citizens when you were that age as well. I know I did.
It is just trying to decipher what they are meaning, that is the difficult decision.

Here's the ad. It looks a little different on CL, Each time it says "show contact info" and you click on it, it produces another copy of the ad.

What I can read is this:

Play time.........sweet.........luscious lips..........very......even........in the sheets..........no blocked calls or wasted time......no black gents.....sry.......5'7......34.........no drama

On my phone, I can also read "very good mouth skills even better in the sheets".

Why go to all that trouble?

did not click on anything this is a comon tactic of people who create virus mallware trying to get people to click a link to install the key logger program or whatever so they can get your credit card info and so on I regularly get spam Emails with similar crap at the bottom of them .

All it is is a list of words so that people using search engines will go to there spam virus installer website . Most likely created by a computer program or a person who does not speak English It Is all about having a a word or picture that will make people click on the link.

If you click on that link and send them an email. You will get some type of Email telling you that you have a package to be picked up with a "document" attached re virus installer. the words in the "advertisment"
are my guess would be a list of words that might most often be used on the websights the program is scanning.

A good explanation, but why would she not edit it after checking it online?

This is what happens when the poster writes the post in a font thats not compatible with the web. The question marks in black diamonds are typically emoji which don't exist on everyone's system. The &# stuff typically preceeds punctuation. When the system doesn't recognize the font it tries to substitute and you end up with jibberish.

The poster likely wrote a very well thought out post using what she thought were very attractive fonts and emoji, likely on a Mac but that's speculation, then cut and pasted it into CL's site.
That's pretty much what I thought. Thanks for the explanation.

For the same reason so many posts contain errors that could be corrected easily with spell check. The posters are fuckin' lazy, and don't check their posts afterward.
