Strange Ghosting

This has happened a few times in the past, and I don't understand the business model.

Text an SP with polite, informative introduction, and desired service.

SP responds with a few questions, which I answer and we agree on everything. Only date and time of meet to be determined.

Text suggested time, and SP responds with affirmative availability.

I ask for general location, and that's where communication ends. Wait a few hours and enquire if she's there. Nothing.

Wait another day and re-introduce myself, and no response.

Nothing but positive communication, until there was none. How is this a viable business plan?

Contacted another SP I'd never seen before, and within 2 hours was visiting.

Sadly, it sounds like today's business model. Simply put, no due dilligence, no follow-thru. Just pumping out their products and move on to next, and let bots and social media handle customer problems. Skipping in-person customer interaction is likely a big part of cost saving.

Back in 2019, I remember once visiting SVIP in Victoria. They had a mission statement with a bullet list about customer satisfaction on the wall. Makes me wonder if the pandemic was the turning point.

Then again, she could be simply having technical difficulties. We'll never know.

Like most services in times like this where costs are high & men’s behaviour is getting worse & worse if someone we do prefer to see & or will bring more money to us .. and if you’re not particularly close with her it’s likely she just didn’t need to see you . You cannot even imagine the ghosting & bad /rude behaviour we deal with . It can even be the slightest thing in a text that’s puts us off , we are fickle creatures 🤓 & if we’re independent we can choose to see whoever/ whenever . If you’re well reviewed & rates are reasonable there’s no lack of horny gents . We don’t have normal 9-5 jobs for a reason 😘 not every gentleman deserves our best “ customer service “ .

I’m generally reliable, but

My dad died in April and I’ve ghosted and stood up a few people, even regulars. I’ve disappeared in the middle of a few almost bookings. Life goes on, bills don’t stop. But man, it’s hard to work after such a life changing event.

I’m ok now. But it was a hard road. Parents should live forever. Especially amazing guys like my dad.

Anyways, I doubt it if it’s even about you.

But yay to being self employed where I can be as flakey as I want to be or need to be. 😘😜
