I was pissed Friday night .. I called a friend up to kill time in New West until she was ready 2 hours later.. So I patiently waited and I said for sure 100% 10:30 ... I could not get a hold of her and gave up at 11:20 ..sometimes shit happens but i would have wished that if she was not going to make it ..just be honest or pick up phone and say something came up ..sure i would be a bit upset but atleast that would have given me the chance to call someone else..

I was so choked, I came from Vancouver to New West.. I couldnt find Shari's # and thought everything was taken care of. I am sure many pooners do this to Sp's .. when you confirm three times on the phone you would think there is not a problem .. latley I have had a tough time to connect with Sp's I am not sure if they are just busy and their is high demand or if they are not taking new clients.. she did say she was 35 and I was 30 and she asked if I seen her before I said no but read some awesome reviews...
There is nothing worse than cruzin' and making an appointment and finding you are driving home with blue balls.. from lack of a release..

Eventually the favour aspect of it was forgotten and it became an expectation that I would come in on my day off, I stopped doing that too.
You could say "oh, you were just doing that cause you needed the cash". Actually, no, I was doing it to be nice person. Eventually I came to realize the "she's just a hooker, who cares" attitude is fairly prevalent, sadly enough. I started treating it as a 'real' business after that. These are my hours, not a minute before or a minute after. Just like your doctor, hairstylist, grocer, etc.

Hard to compare
A dentist will charge the $200 for the missed appt. because he/she has a degree along with a fairly substantial overhead. I hardly think that the two occupations can be compared. However, a hair dresser normally would not charge for a missed appt. even with some formal education in hair styling. Being in a cash only gig has some drawbacks where you can't always get equal treatment.
okay, but it's not about the education, overhead, etc. My point was the anonymity of the business allows for a certain amount of disregard for someone's time, as the Bob from Burnaby comment alludes to.

Some escorts strive to develop a stable of regulars and then give them extra time. Sometimes as fast as just the second visit you might get treated like a regular.
But if you turn into a 'clockwatcher', then aren't you punishing the guy that actually shows up?

That sounds very harsh hitrack. There are losers on both sides. No show clients and sps who have no problem blowing your appt off because you are just one of many lining up.
We are talking about businesses that operate outside of conventional business rules and codes.
There are threads on this board about relationships/friendships with sps. That is very rare. Many sps would like to have us think that but there is a reason for the donation box at the door. It means you wouldn't be there with her otherwise.
When your money dries up, so does the interest in you. If the money is ample from elsewhere, you are not needed. As maddening as it is to get stiffed on a call, I think this is the very sad realty to be expected.

Well, just my 2c, but my definition of a clockwatcher isn't someone who gives the hour and no more, but rather someone who spends the whole hour "watching" the clock. Like if in the middle of some active fun she says something like "can you hurry up, you've only got 10 minutes left", that's a clockwatcher. I have no problem with girls who give me an hour when that's all I've paid for, but I don't want the impression that the whole time I'm with them they have one eye on the clock just waiting for the point when they can say "time's up".lebagyptian said:
