STD Risk Question

I have a concern - it seems like escorts are checked on occasion, like once every 3 months, for STD`s. I wanted to get an escort, but this is my only area of doubt - even with a condom, there are some skin to skin contact STD`s that I can`t do anything about. They could also leave me on medication for the rest of my life. Am I misunderstanding something? How big of a risk is this for me, if I keep it protected at all times?

I don`t read about a lot of people posting on https://terb.cc discussing their STD`s, but that doesn`t mean they don`t have any - is it possible people keep it a secret and continue sleeping with escorts?

As a side note: Is being tested once every 3 months often enough for a girl who is having sex as her job? That leaves a large window for something to spread, and if clients are seeing multiple girls, it could spread through the community pretty quickly, right?

Some examples of viruses that are passed from skin to skin contact include warts and herpes and molluscum. None of these are serious conditions and you would not necessarily, or even probably, be taking medications for the rest of your life if you got any of them.

It is hard to estimate the risk. There are many factors including:

• The person you are with would have to have had the infection and have virus on their skin when you were together
• It is possible that you may have already come in contact with the virus and have some immunity

I don’t think people always talk about their STIs and sometimes people don’t know they have them. For the most part I think people don’t knowingly pass on infections that they have.

There are no guidelines for when people should routinely test but three months is considered reasonable for people who have more than one partner.

In end you have to decide what you are comfortable with.
If you feel anxious about skin to skin contact then you might want to do something else ie hand jobs.
