SPs being late on confirmed booking time

How late are you willing to wait after a confirmed appt time before bailing?

Recently had a date setup and while I was 5 mins late to the time agreed, she was in another date and wasn’t able to text obv.

After 20 mins I was about to head when I got a “hey wait 10 min”. After 15 min from that point I bailed. So a total of 35 min late.
I felt I was polite but upfront about waiting and then leavingbut a couple mins later got a bunch of trash talk and then told not to see her again (which is fine that’s her call obviously and I respect that).

I was a regular of hers until that point for reference.

So is over a half hour late acceptable or not? What’s your take?

Depends on the attitude and reason. Sometimes shit happens that we can't control on either side of the situation. A sincere apology and forthright communication is a definite must. If that happens I would be willing to wait for a lady that I see regularly up to maybe a half hour if my schedule allows. For someone I haven't seen before I would wait 15 minutes or so based on how the communication goes.

I am quite surprised a lady would end the (business) relationship based on the facts presented. Repeat customers are valuable. If the significant late timing (more than 20 minutes) caused me some amount of stress such that it impacts my interest, I might bail.

Moving an appointment to half an hour later is only acceptable if both the provider and client give a reasonable notice time e.g. 2 to 3 hours ideally, but if you were her regular perhaps 1 hour notice.

Given that she didn't give you any notice and you were her regular and she didn't apologize since it was all on her and she trash talks you instead,consider yourself fortunate that it ended now cuz it would have only gotten worse.

Sounds like she double-booked, or at least someone else's appointment partially overlapped yours. Even if you kept waiting, she could well cut your session short to "make room" for the next one. Anyway she took you for granted. That's for sure.

You being 5 min late is literally nothing in the great scheme of things, same as her asking you to come 5 min later. But you waiting >20 min is bad form.
Her trash talking you sounds like she is a bit unstable too.
For what its worth and after having been made to wait and/or being ghosted standing there waiting to get a buzzer number, my standard procedure is text when I arrive/park. If I get a "wait 10 min baby" text, red flags are going up. I text back OK but only 10 min. At 10min I text to ask again for buzzer number etc and if I get another wait really any time, I text back that sorry this didn't work out and Bye.
The OP did nothing wrong or out of the ordinary if this is the full story, so cut the loss and move on to a new regular.

My take is she thinks you’ll keep coming back and she will pull it on you again.

I put up with this shit too many times over the years. I’m one of those guys who thinks on time is being 15 minutes early. Without a text I’m gone after 15 min late.

Make me wonder how it is I’ve seen one SP for 10 years and she’s been late once. It was one of those intricate bustiers with many straps that took her 30 minutes to put on. Took me that long to take it off too haha.

I mean, you have to commend them for their laziness. I have only the upmost respect for people who can be that unreliable and still survive. It’s kinda amazing, hypothetically. Also annoying for the customer though hahahhaa

Not really. I had a confirmed time. Told her when I was going to be there so she didn’t have to wonder why I wasn’t right on time. She didn’t respond at all until 15mins after and then said she needed 10. I asked if it was really 10 and no response so after 15 I bailed. Nicely too I might add, said guess not tonight, next time then.
Cue the trash talk and ended the relationship. Too bad, she was fun.
I’ve had other SPs be flaky on start times and just don’t want to put up with it. Within reason is fine like 10-15 but 30+ is just too much for me.

If you stayed on, the wait could probably be even longer. And then a rushed session or even cancellation could have followed.

Depends on the situations.

When I used to see this part timer, there were a couple of times that she was late coming home from school where I had to wait 30 ~ 45 min. I had no problem waiting (given that i didn't have other commitments right after)

But the situation OP mentioned sounded like typical micro taking another client whom showed up a little before OP's confirmed booking. Fully knowing what they/SP did and fully knowing someone is banging SP that I am about to, I wouldn't waste another 5 min of my time.

This happened to me once. Her "running a little bit late" turned out to be an hour+ late, because she was actually at some outcall appointment during my supposed incall time, and had to return to the incall. I sat/drove around the "fuck all is out here" part of Richmond waiting and the eventual session was a disappointment.

Double booking, or taking any guy that comes along last minute is pretty low grade IMO, and I expect any respectable SP to respect my time as much as I respect hers. I'm waiting 10 minutes, if I haven't had any communication and a reasonable explanation forget it. Cross this girl off the list and move on.
