Glad that you cleared that up; otherwise, the CH's here will be all over me if I said the same thingthe reason it's a separate thread is cuz i'm not picking on luongo. i'm also implying that a group of young fast energetic players will beat the so called skilled ones. the 2003 ducks proved that in their 4 game destruction of the red wings. about the same time the wild proved it against the avalanche. and both did it against top notch goalies.
of course i'm not implying that any of the young teams were devoid of talent.
Basically this boils down to saying let's copy what the Hawks did.the reason it's a separate thread is cuz i'm not picking on luongo. i'm also implying that a group of young fast energetic players will beat the so called skilled ones. the 2003 ducks proved that in their 4 game destruction of the red wings. about the same time the wild proved it against the avalanche. and both did it against top notch goalies.

no, it means what i said it means - picking better conditioned athletes. no, that's not the entire recipe for the stanley cup but it's a start.Basically this boils down to saying let's copy what the Hawks did.
like the speed that the old " westcoast express " had ?sorry, not talking about me driving on the road, i'm talking about playoff hockey.
i'm not saying anything new here that hasn't already been said but i think it's about time the nucks actually went out and acquired some speed.
It never was the Nucks year to begin with. Missing the playoffs last year due to Nonis' lousy ability, and the new GM Gillis coming in, it was already considered a successful year just making the playoffs; and they actually winning the division, surprising everyone, including myself, just shows that they weren't expected to do well during the season.like the speed that the old " westcoast express " had ?
It just seems like its still not the year.
well,we're far from considered 'young talent'...no matter how good this Hodgson dude, he ain't no Ovechkin or Toews...just another Linden-like w/ plenty of leadership and character, and that isn't the Nucks' shortfall.the reason it's a separate thread is cuz i'm not picking on luongo. i'm also implying that a group of young fast energetic players will beat the so called skilled ones. the 2003 ducks proved that in their 4 game destruction of the red wings. about the same time the wild proved it against the avalanche. and both did it against top notch goalies.

Guess you're no PicassoCome on, what's disgusting and humiliating about an old man that wants nothing more than to cum in a woman's eyes and hair?
what he saidWhat I find funny is that some of these teams (mostly the Leafs, and lately the Canucks, Rangers, etc) just don't get it. Stop signing every piece of garbage player you can get your hands on, and DEVELOP YOUR YOUNGER TALENT!
Look at the Penguins, Hawks & Washington. They lounged in the basement for a number of years, signed some great rookies, developed them, and look where they are now - two in the Conference finals, the other almost made it. The years of trading for the "hired guns" are over and done with. Sure, Detroit had a few good years of doing it in the 90's, but it blew up in their face in 2002, getting their asses handed to them by a much younger Anaheim team, and they learned from their mistakes. They developed their rookies, and look at where it got them - 5 years later, and Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Franzen are franchise players.
I really don't understand why teams like the Leafs can't pick up on this....
