SP Asking for Whatsapp / Phone #

I am wondering if anyone had ever experienced the same and can shed some light on why SP would do this?

Recently had an experience where the SP ask me to scan her QR code to add her on Whatsapp or to text her so she get my number. This is the first time I ever experienced this. I asked what it's for but she will not tell me even though I ask multiple times. She was also very pushy about it, and I kept telling her I want to keep my information private. She tried a couple more times and eventually gave up.

I had a great session with the SP, it was my first time seeing her. She have multiple positive reviews on here, no one ever mentioned her asking for these information in any of the reviews. The SP was also working at a reputable agency. The session itself went great, I let the SP take the lead so I don't think I pissed her off or anything. Her attitude was bubbly and happy the whole time, even after refused to give out my info.

Anyone here know why a SP ask for these info?

I do not want to disclose the SP or the Agency, in case this can negatively impact them. Though the situation was weird, I did not sense any ill intent from the SP.

It's often just been a nice way to keep in touch, in my experience. Usually you'll text back and forth for a little bit. Either they talk you into coming back to see them again (which would be the most obvious reason), or you just kind of stop talking after a bit. I don't think there's much more than that to read into it. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for sharing your experience. This is what I thought at first too and if she just told me that I would have just given it to her but since she didn't want to tell me after I asked why, made me rethink.

Many girls switch agencies and want to update clients about it. Ie Ayumi when she became Kakula messaged me about the change.
Others will use that when they leave and come back to town, so there is business for them when they return. Good marketing. Berry was really good about letting a bunch of us know when she would blow into town. She would already have booking even before the plane landed

They did that to retain the good client in case they change work place and able to "keep in touch". That's all. Hence why it is important to have a burner phone with a number and not a text apps.
